Luke's POV
So she's on a plane to Portland, her home. And here I am, sitting alone in a room feeling lonely. Sure, Arz is okay and sweet but I am honestly done with our relationship. I have a feeling it won't as us being friends. She's more into me than I am her.
"Luke?" a sweet voice asks from my door.
"Yeah, Arz?" I groan internally.
"Can we do something fun? Maybe go walk around together and take pictures?" she suggests, coming in the door of my room. Of course she had a key.
"I don't want to." Sure, it was something to do, but I didn't want to do it with her. If Mason and I were to do it together, it would be fun. But we are just friends. I sound so lame.
"Come on!" she whines, walking towards me pouting. Mason's pout was cuter than hers.
"No," I shake my head. Maybe I could go know and fly to the US and somehow make it to Portland. I could say I was needing some Calum time. No.
"Ugh, you never want to do anything with me." Arzaylea turns away, logging onto her phone.
"You know what?" my voice comes off a bit harsh, "I am breaking up with you."
Her head snaps towards me, her face shocked. "What!?"
"Yeah," I say, standing, trying to be confident, "We are through. I don't care what management says. They have no right to keep me from the person I truly love." Love? What the hell did I just say? Great, now I am being cheesy and dramatic.
"What the hell, Luke? You love someone besides me?" Her face was red. Her hands clench the phone.
"I never loved you. I liked you. Big difference." I say, grabbing my coat and walking towards the door. "Goodbye, Arzaylea."
"Wha- Where are you going?" Arzaylea calls out.
"To tell her."----------------------
Mason's POV
"Let's go!" I yell at my sister. "I want to get there early!" She is taking a lot of extra time putting on makeup and clothing.
"I want to look perfect, and perfection takes time!" Em yells back.
Calum laughs, "You guys are totally related."
"What do you mean?" a smile on my lips.
He nods his head towards Em's room. "You have the same humor, eyes, and sass. It is really entertaining to hang with both of you."
"Well, she sure is enjoying meeting you. The last time I was home she recited the 5SOS Bible to me. I think you were the type of guy to smack your girlfriend's ass in front of her parents?" I snort.
Calum and I burst out laughing until he looks very seriously at me and says, "I've done that." We continue to giggle until Em walks downstairs.
"Guys, how do we make sure no one mugs us?"
"I don't think anyone will mug us, but they might surround us and ask for autographs." I shrug, laughing.
"I already texted Matty, telling him we'd be there in the front row." Calum says, and we walk outside towards the black suv. "He said we would be fine because there is security right in front of the stage so they have been alerted that we will be there.
"It's a small venue, we will be fine, Em."
"Okay."
----------------
Once the concert starts, Em, Clam, and I are dancing and singing along to every song. Everything so far has gone smoothly. The girls around us recognized us, but were kind enough not to say anything.
My obsession with Matty Healy grows every second. He dances. He sings. He smokes. He drinks his wine. He dabs. He is Matty Healy and I will marry him. One day...
The next song begins and it is easily recognized. Somebody Else.
"So I heard you found somebody else," I sing softly and look around. Em is dancing and singing loudly. Calum is standing next to me, and he's on his phone?
"What are you doing?" I nudge him. His eyes meet mine and he smiles.
"Nothing, just looking at a photo I took." His attention turns back to the stage as Matty continues to dance and sing beautifully. Gotta love Matty Healy. And Clam Hoodlum. And Em. And Lu- uh, no one else.
Oh boy.
------------------
"WELL I KNOW WHEN YOU'RE AROUND CAUSE I KNOW THE SOUND," Em yell sings.
"THE SOUND OF YOUR HEART!" Clam finishes. The two of them dance around me as I beg for them to settle down.
"Why aren't you joining?" Em raises her eyebrow. She plops down next to me on my bed.
"Mom and Dad are asleep so let's not wake them up, and I am exhausted." I lay back on my bed.
Calum shoots up, his phone in his hand. "I need to go, to, uh t-to the bathroom." he flies out the door without another word.
"Well, seems like he had to go bad," Em states in an extremely awkward way.
"Maybe he doesn't feel good." I shrug, "I'll go check on him." My feet trail down the hallway, to the bathroom, but he isn't in there. Suddenly, the front door closes and I could hear whispering downstair.
What the hell was Clam doing?!
"Calum?" I whisper yelled, walking down the stairs towards the entry way.
Once I get to the entry way, two silhouettes meet me. Calum's and L-Luke's?
"What the hell are you doing here, Luke?" I whisper, shocked.
"We need to talk."
