-Katie-

-Trott's POV-

It's the end of the day and I'm walking home now.

The sky's already dark as it's winter, but winter will always be as mystical as always.

Just then I walk into Katie.

"Hi again." Katie says.

"Hi." I say.

She walks along side me.

"How was school?" She asks.

"Just looked around and hung out with Sjin, yourself?" I ask.

"Boring, just hung out with Hannah all day." She shrugs.

I nod.

"So, the party, are you and the others going as friends? or?" She asks.

"Friends." I say, frowning slightly.

"That's cool, are you with someone in a serious way?" She asks.

"In a relationship way? No, I wouldn't want to anyway." I say.

She stops, "well, this is my place."

"See you around." I say before going to walk away.

She grabs my hand and then places his lips on mine.

I pull away quickly with a confused expression.

She frowns, "sorry. I just thought..."

"Don't think next time, don't think about me, it'll help, honestly the things which happened in the past belong in the past." I say, running my hand through my hair.

"Have you told Smith then?" She asks.

"Why would I tell Smith?" I ask.

"Because of you two--" She goes to continue.

"Look, Katie if you have some hatred or jealously against Smith, forget about it okay, it'll make your life a lot easier, and his too I think just forget about us both." I frown, walking away.

"Whatever." She growls.

Where the hell did that come from?

I groan and touch my forehead.

Jesus, my head hurts now.

I find my house and knock on the door.

Why am I knocking if it's my house?

I go to open the door but someone else opens it.

It's Smith.

Wait, what?

"Trott?" Smith questions.

"I eh, I was going home?" I shake my head, "I don't know, obviously my brain thought this was home."

Smith blushes, lets gestures me in.

I head on in and close the door behind me.

"My mums in the living room with what's his face, so we can chill in my room." He suggests, walking to his room.

I nod and follow him into his room.

I take a seat on his bed.

"I, missed you today." I whisper.

"What?" Smith asks.

"I missed you today." I repeat louder.

He blushes more, "I missed you too."

"Eh yeah, Katie kissed me." I say also.

"What?" His eyebrows furrow.

"Katie kissed me and I told her to forget about me." I say, smiling.

"That's good." He smiles back, "Anyway, why are you here again?"

"I was meant to be going to mine but my body brought me here." I say, laying down.

"Are you okay?" He asks, sitting beside me.

"Yeah, I'm here now so yes." I smile, closing my eyes.

He places his head on my chest.

"She also asked if I was going to the party with someone and I said yes. Then she asked as friends and I also said yes. I don't see why she's so just I guess desperate." I frown.

Smith shrugs.

"It's late." He whispers.

"Yeah, I'm tired, do you mind if I just sleep here?" I ask, rolling over so I'm facing him.

"Yeah sure, do what you you want." He whispers, staring into my eyes.

His face looks tired but filled with something but I can't tell what.

He places a hand on my cheek, dragging it down over my lips.

He suddenly pulls my lips into his. I kiss back, without thinking.

I try to resist but I just, can't.

After a few seconds, I pull back.

"Sorry." Smith whispers.

"It just, needed to get out, from the both of us." I whisper, "we're both lonely so it's expected."

He agrees and lays down his head, closing his eyes.

I scan his face. He looks slightly more happier now.

Today's just eh, I just need sleep.

I lay down my head and close my eyes, drifting into sleep.
