Chapter 6 Flashes in the darkness

Aphmau's POV
Although I was unconscious, I was able to hear a lot that was going on... a bit after I blacked out Garroth came back, I felt that he wasn't alone but the other person wasn't speaking.

'Aphmau!! Please wake up... don't leave me here...' Garroth... I so wish I could wake up... but I can't! I wang to tell you who we were for each other... but... you have to save me... again. Tears came down on my hand and then he finally picked me up... I don't know what happened next... I blacked out completely but my mind showed me my Garroth from my Past...

**Flashback 1**
The series of events began with the day I met my prince... we were both young, I was 10 and he was 12. Our fathers were great friends back then and his father came to our city to discuss some things about an alliance with us so he took his oldest son with him and I was the one to show him around...

'Good morning, my name is Prince Garroth of O'Khasis, the oldest Son of Lord Garte.' He was very formal back then and while greeting me he bowed then he changed a lot while being with me...

'Good morning, It is a pleasure to meet you, I am Princess Aphmau of Skyflare, the oldest Daughter of Lord Adam' saying that I curtsey as that is what princesses should do when they meet a prince or a lord, although being formal wasn't really my thing I had to impress our guests...

'So, Prince Garroth, would you like to see the city of Skyflare?' I had to ask as we both knew that we couldn't attend our fathers meeting.

'It would be a pleasure with soch a beautiful Princess' so we walked around the city talking about each other untill one of my maids found us and told us to go back to my castle as my new friend had to leave...

'It was a pleasure to be able to spend time with you, Princess Aphmau'

'Thank you for accepting my offer, Prince Garroth' we said as our goodbye... straight away I saw a spark in my father's eyes but back then I had no idea what it ment.

**Time skip to a few months later**
Me and Garroth are great friends now, whenever possible we would ask our fathers is we could meet... they never said no unless we had something very important but we wouldn't miss each other's special days... we always used raven, Garroth's wayvren, to send messages about what is going on in our lives every week at least once as well as meet in the forest between our cities each month... we were inseparable.
One day,on my 12th birthday, while on our monthly visit in the forest, he pulled out a small velvet box

'Aph, would you be m-my g-girlfriend?' My heart was filled with joy... he pulled out a beautiful necklace out of the velvet box and waited for my answer...

'Oh my Irene! Garroth, Yes yes yes! A thousand times yes!' We both laughed and spend the night together... both of us actually fell asleep in each others arms... I never wanted to forget that day.

**two years later**
Mine and Garroth's fathers were happy that we were so close however it all changed when my younger sister... Aphasia... was killed by... one of... O'Khasis guards... I never wanted to believe in that... my father was always very protective of his children and when he heard that someone from O'Khasis killed my sister... he declared war on O'Khasis... it made Garroth's father angry that his great friend and father of his son's girlfriend declared war on him that he decided to fight as well...me and my Prince tried to reason with our fathers but the darkness of war has taken over them... there was one thing left to do and neither I or Garroth liked it...

'Garroth, we... we can't be together anymore... I had to sneak out of the castle and Raven couldn't deliver your messages to me anymore... I.. I do not want this but I want you to be happy even if we can't be together...' I cried into his arms... both of us cried

'It's impossible to forget you Aph... I love you very very much.'

'So do I Garroth , I wish there was another way but...I can delete you memories of me so you can be happy even if I'm not there with you...you know about my power...'

'But what about you? I don't want to be happy if you're not'

'If there is no side effect from doing so, I will get rid of my memory too...'

'But before we part ways, let's spend our last night together, It will be so hard for me to say goodbye to the love of my life...' so we just huddled into each others arms and fell asleep next to a big oak tree and slept untill morning... We heard voices calling my name so I woke Garroth up and we kissed before I removed his memory...

'You'll remember me for about a day but then I'll be a no one to you... tell your father about this, I will miss you so much...'

'You are strong Aph we'll get through this, I promise...' then I shot the spell and thankfully Garroth was fine I just colapsed to the ground and hear my father

'Leave my daughter alone!' And then Garroth just ran towards his city, it pained my that my father hated the one he adored so much and wanted to give my hand to in the future,neither Garroth or my father at that point knew that I lost my power and I couldn't just forget him as easily as my prince forgot me...
I will always love you Garroth...

**end of Flashbacks**

I was laying down on a comfortable bed... the same one I was on when I first arived at Phoenix Drop... I opened my eyes and saw him looking at me... a tear came out of my eye

'Garroth, I know who you are...'

Those feels! Why did I made soch a dramatic back story to Aphmau's and Garroth's love?! I love it tho and I even cried while writing this so I hope you liked this dramatic chapter althoug Those Feels Are Killing Me!
