Liam's POV:

The door opened revealing Mrs Conrad. With her stood a tall tanned boy with brown hair styled in a quiff. To be honest I thought Mrs Conrad had brought the wrong lad. He didn't seem like the type of lad who would give up his lunch break so he could protect Gracie while she slept. Or I was wrong or the story she had told us was a lie. Either way he didn't seem the kind of lad to hang around with a girl like Gracie.

Mrs Conrad introduced him:

"Mr Payne this is young Zachary Evans"

I stood up and offered him a handshake but he just ignored it and slumped down in a seat on the other side of the room. Miss Conrad gave me a sympathetic look and said:

"I will give you two a moment, any problems I will be next door."

She stepped out from the room and closed the door. I knew it was not going to be an easy task.

Zachary's POV:

When Mrs Conrad had dragged me out of sports studies I was pissed off. It was the only lesson I actually still liked. I was curious to what I had done though. When she took me to her office a young man stood there waiting. I had never seen him before but I instinctively disliked him. He stuck his hand out..... Come on! That means he was a posh overrated dude who thought he would get what he wanted but, guess what, posh pants definitely didn't get what he wanted. He soon realised it and sat back in his chair and lent forward resting his arms on his legs. When he started to speak, I smirked at his ridiculous accent, it wasn't as posh as he had acted:

"I can see you don't want to be here bu..." I cut him off:

"You got that right!"

Liam's POV:

The kid was rude but I wanted to find out what had gone on so I wasn't going to give up that easy:

"Look, I'm here about Gracie"

The second I mentioned her name his body tensed and his face contorted:

"Gracie? I... Is she okay?" He spluttered out like he was concerned.

"Yes she's okay ... but I need to speak to you." I smiled hoping I had now hit a sensitive spot but again he cut me off. It started to seriously annoy me. I was ready to blow even though I am usually calm and can handle most people but him no!

"Well if she's fine and everything's okay... I think I will be leaving, thanks" he said standing up and walking towards the door.

No way was he just getting away like that! I wanted to know what had broke their friendship; I hurried in front of him, towering over him:

"You are not leaving this room until you answer at least one of my questions!"

He let out a loud sigh and stormed back to where he was sitting, I returned to my seat.

Zachary's POV:

Knowing he was related to Gracie somehow I was even less willing to talk with him.
