Gracie turned. She jumped from my lap charging towards the book case. She picked a book up and began stating what the book was about, it didn't really make sense, but she threw the book to the floor and began stating what another book was about, that's when something shocking to Dr Patrice happened.

Gracie removed a book and then pulled at the book shelf, it opened like a door. How did Gracie know about that. Dr Patrice signalled for us to stay seated as she stood approaching Gracie.

"How did you know about that Gracie?" She questioned.

"Gracie told me, she has been here before! Gracie doesn't like this place." Gracie said spinning around glaring at the Dr.

"Can you tell me who brought Gracie here?" Dr Patrice asked.

"The evil people. They said Gracie was crazy. They did things to Gracie!" Gracie continued.

She wasn't crying, nor angered. She spoke calmly and as a third person.

"Where's Gracie right now?" Dr Patrice questioned.

"I hid her somewhere safe, somewhere she can't be hurt. She isn't as strong as me." She lovingly said.

"And who are you?" Dr Patrice questioned.

The room fell silent, Gracie or well Gracie's other persona didn't answer. Dr Patrice tried again. But nothing. So she tried something else

"Can you tell me what happened to Gracie when she last visited here."

"They tied her to the long sofa! Then they whipped her with the belt. She promised she wouldn't be crazy but they didn't stop. They started to take her clothes off." Gracie fell quiet again.

She stepped further into the room hidden behind the bookshelf. Sitting up in the chair I glanced into the room, there was a lady sitting at a desk, working maybe. She remained in her place though, I suppose as a psychologist that was the correct thing to do.

"Can you describe what the people look like that brought you here." Dr Patrice asked.

"Not me, Gracie! She said it was her daddy who brought her here, he then left." Gracie hissed.

"Who took away Gracie's clothes?"

"The Dr!" Gracie stated peering back to Dr Patrice.

"JUST LIKE YOU!" She added yelling.

"No Gracie. I won't hurt you, no one here will hurt you here. I won't let them. This is a safe place Gracie." Dr practice said softly.

That was it again, Gracie's body tensed up, her face set hard, her tone anger

"Where is he? Where's that bastard. I want to kill him. I'm going to kill him. I'm going tie him up and cut his balls off and then poke his eyes out with a knife, then I will burn him from his feet up, really slowly. I'll teach that bastard not to mess with Gracie." Gracie growled.

After Gracie had shared the graphic details on how she wanted to hurt the person who had hurt her she dropped hard to the floor. Dr Patrice approached slowly and crouched down beside Gracie.

"Gracie? .... Gracie!" she softly called.

Again, Gracie had changed just as quick as before. Small sobs filled the silent room. I could see Liam struggle to stay seated as they grew louder.

"Please don't hurt me, please!" She pleaded through sobs to Dr Patrice.

"I won't, I promise you Gracie, here is a safe place to be." She reassured Gracie.

Taking hold of Gracie's hand Dr Patrice stood to her feet coaxing Gracie along the way back into her office. I was expecting the Dr to close the bookshelf door but she didn't. She guided Gracie to a seat of her own and then Dr Patrice pulled a seat in front of Gracie.

"I'm sorry I went to sleep." Gracie innocently apologised.

"Gracie you didn't go to sleep." Dr Patrice explained.

"Where's Dr Brown?" Gracie questioned.

"Dr brown? I don't know a Dr Brown! Can you tell me what he looks like Gracie?"

"I can draw him!l Gracie stated.

At that Dr Patrice stood to her feet and walked over to the kids area of her office. Pulling a draw open she pulled out paper and colours. Walking over to the table in the opposite corner she asked Gracie to join her. Gracie slowly got up from her seat and did as she was asked.

* 30 minutes later *

"Done!" Gracie declared quietly.

As Dr Patrice examined the sketch she let out a gasp. She looked up from the paper and straight to Gracie.

"Gracie, you've seen this man here?" She asked with a concerned tone.

"Yes! I don't like him." Gracie quietly stated while walking over to Liam.

"Gracie sweetheart, can you tell me why you don't like him?"

"He hurt me. Just like daddy and his friends did." She mumbled hiding her head into Liam's neck.

Gracie's revelations worried me, we were in the building where a professional had taken advantage of Gracie, had abused my baby girl. The anger inside me built, I wanted to grab Gracie and leave there and then, but I knew that wouldn't help, we had to hear what Gracie knew of this place and that man she had sketched.

Harry's POV:

"Please do excuse me!" Dr Patrice said as she left the office.

"She's going to tell him isn't she, she's going to tell him I'm here." Gracie cried into Liam's neck.

Within seconds of leaving the room the Dr returned.

"I've informed a detective known to this practice to come by. I am afraid Gracie's revelations are shocking.

"Gracie sweetheart, do you think you can tell the detectives what you told me?" She softly questioned Gracie.

"Here? Is he here?" Gracie questioned back.

"No sweetheart. Dr Bobby hasn't worked here for a few months now." She reassuringly said.

"Dr Bobby."

"That's his real name sweetheart..... Gracie you have been so brave to tell us." Dr Patrice said standing back up from her desk. .
