Zachary's POV:

Gracie had been cooped up for almost 5 weeks, the only light she had seen was through a window and the only air she had was filtered, she wasn't panicking about the crowd, she was panicking about the bus, another confined space.

"Wanna get out of here?" I suggested even though I knew it was wrong.

Gracie nodded shyly, I knew she just needed some air and time to calm down.

"Will we get told off?" She asked as I peeped around the fire exit door at the back end of the hospital.

"Let's not worry about that right now... We'll have some fresh air something to eat and then call and apologise."

"That's a yes then!" Gracie asked with one eyebrow raised.

Laughing, I grabbed her hand and led the way around the back of the hospital and hollered a cab. We climbed in and headed out to Santa Monica

Gracie's POV:

We climbed out the cab somewhere in Santa Monica outside a fried chicken place. Zachary carried me in as I wore nothing on my feet, upon entering he asked what I would like to eat and drink.

"1 piece of Southern fried chicken, and 1 piece of peri peri chicken with a strawberry milkshake and fries."

"Anything else?" He chuckled.

I thought about it for a moment and shook my head, the menu didn't offer much else anyway.

Still in his arms, in my Lion King pyjamas Zachary went up to the counter and placed his rather large order.

"The large family feast please, half peri peri chicken and half southern fried with two strawberry milkshakes, two waters, and 4 breaded mozzarella cheese sticks please."

I was curious, Zachary preferred fine dining, so I asked him,

"Why no posh restaurant?"

"I figured you wouldn't want to sit in after you just broke out the hospital... Why you ask rascal? You want to eat in a restaurant?"

"No!" I gasped.

"I thought we could take this over to the park and have a little picnic under the trees like old times."

"Sounds lovely!" I said smiling.

As we stood waiting for the order to be complete a few customers stood and admired my very girlie pyjamas, it made me feel uncomfortable, but Zachary soon made sure I knew I was beautiful, by grabbing one of the plastic tiaras which were sold with the girls kids meal,

"Oh yes, you're a perfect pyjama princess!" He stated.

Embarrassed I laughed and reached down to grab the kings crown which was sold with boy kid meals,

"Oh yes, perfect drama king!" I mimicked causing him to chuckle.

"I see, I treat you like a kid you're going to do it back to me?" He asked sarcastically.
