Liam's POV:

"They film it. Then he hides them in the safe in his house." Gracie told the detective.

"They took Gracie's clothes away and left her in the dark. She couldn't breath, because they covered her mouth. When they came back they did horrible things to her." Gracie answered the detectives questions.

"At his house he had a casket, and when Gracie stayed there its where she had to sleep, it was under his bed. She hated it. It was dark and tiny." Gracie quietly revealed.

"In his office ... He ..." She trailed off

"Gracie loves her new Dad. He is really nice to her, he doesn't hurt her, nor her new uncles." She paused and her face scrunched as though she was thinking.

"Gracie's new Dad keeps her safe, and he sings to her. Her Nan makes up stories, there funny." She added.

Sitting in the corner of the room I felt my heart melt. I had to remain seated in the corner, I had to watch and listen to Gracie tell detectives of yet another one of her ordeals. I had to watch my baby girl find it hard to accept what had happened to her. She had to tell her story as a third person, it was the only way she could tell it. My heart was in my mouth, I wanted to pull her into my arms and tell her it was all going to be okay, that I could take it all away, but I couldn't.

"In his office, what happened there Gracie, can you tell me?" The lady detective questioned softly.

"Gracie said they got undressed, they put there hand inside her, then other things." She stopped.

The room fell quiet, all that could be heard were the sounds created by Gracie shuffling around.

She was growing more agitated by the minute.

"What other things Gracie?" The detective softly questioned.

"Gracie, can you tell us?" The detective pushed.

"Th-they .... A base ball bat." She quietly revealed.

"It wouldn't fit. It made them mad, and they forced it, it made Gracie bleed for days. She couldn't sit down or walk. She added just above a whisper.

"An-and H-his ... Like Daddy and his friends did." She mumbled.

Gracie turned in her seat looking to find me in the corner

"Dad? Do you still love me?" She asked me through small sobs.

"Standing to my feet I approached Gracie, crouching down in front of her I pulled her into my chest holding Gracie in a tight hug.

"I will always love you Gracie, always. There is nothing in this world that will ever change that." I reassured her.

Pushing Gracie back a little bit so I could see her eyes I made it clear

"I promise Gracie, nothing will stop me from loving you. Your so brave Gracie, I'm so proud of you." I said wrapping my large pinky around her tiny one which Gracie then kissed, kissing it back I then pulled Gracie into another hug.
