Gabriella walked into the elevator awkwardly. Now that she knew she had basically forced luke to tell her about his past, she felt completely guilty and ashamed. She had been scolding herself all night.
"Hey." Luke greeted, grinning as usual.
"Hi." She said, her voice low.
"What's wrong, hun bun?"
She glanced at him. "Nothing.. I just.. I feel guilty for forcing you to tell all the things you said to me yesterday, when you didn't want to."
"Ah, it's okay, hun bun. You don't have to be guilty." He smiled at her.
"I'm sorry for ignoring you, Loki." She said. "And thanks for sharing with me."
He patted her head. "It's alright, at least you're not ignoring me anymore."
When gabriella remained silent, Luke reached out and tucked her hair behind her ear. "Hey, it's okay. It's not a big deal, hun bun. Cheer up!"
You could just hear the smile in his voice.
Smiling, she sighed and looked at him. "Why are you always smiling, exactly, Luke?"
A second passed before he replied, "Everything is just better when we smile, abby."
The elevator opened, and they got out.
