"Hi." Gabriella greeted Luke in the elevator the next day. Luke held out a pack of oreo to her, raising his brow.

"Want some?"

"Of course I do!" She grinned, taking some out and savoured every inch of them.

She loves oreo.

"You look like you're about to moan." Luke remarked, smirking.

She arched an eyebrow. "I was actually going to moan. Got a problem with that?"

"Nope." He said, grinning. "I'd like to hear it. Especially when it says my name."

"Pervert." She muttered under her breath and noticed the elevator hadn't moved since they got in. She glanced at the buttons, and yeah, Luke had pressed the G button.

"Hey, we're not moving." She pointed out.

"What?"

"The elevator's not moving." She tried to press the button with letter G, nada. Still not moving. She immediately pressed random numbers, 3,5,6,9.

The elevator refused to move. She pressed the open door button, but nothing moved. She groaned. "What's wrong with this?"

And then as if it wasn't bad enough that she was going to be late, the lights above them flickered for a second before everything turned dark.

"What's happening?" Luke asked. "Hun bun? You okay?"

"I'm alright." She replied. "I don't know what's happening, though. CAN SOMEONE HEAR ME? ANYONE?!" She shouted, banging the elevator door.

"There's no way anyone's awake now. Is there any, like, help buttons there?" Luke asked. "Like emergency button. Elevators usually have that."

"I don't know. Check it yourself?"

"Alright." She heard his footsteps walking closer to her, and stopped as he checked the buttons.

"Nope. Great. How are we supposed to get help? Can you try to phone someone?"

"I left my phone in my flat." She groaned. "It was dead. What about yours?"

He chuckled. "It fell into my toilet two days ago."

"That's awesome, loki." She rolled her eyes, sighing. "Isn't this just great? Now we have to wait until people start to notice the elevator's not coming up."

Luke sighed too and sat on the floor, patting the space next to him for gabriella to sit. She hesitated for a second, before moving to sit beside him.

"This is so great."

"At least none of us is claustrophobic." Luke said, playing with her long, black hair. "That's a good thing, hun bun."

"I'm going to be late for work."

"You've got a reasonable excuse. That's a good thing as well." He chuckled. She smiled at the sound of it.

None of them spoke for the next few seconds, hoping the elevator moves. When it wasn't moving and they realized they were stuck with each other's companies, gab decided to break the silence by saying things that kept lingering in her mind.

She leaned her head against Luke's shoulder. "By the way, got any news about your dad?"

When Luke's dad passed out on some random pavement in downtown, gabriella tried to convince Luke to at least help his dad by driving him home. But of course Luke refused. They just got into domino's pizza like nothing happened and didn't even talk about him.
