She was still giving him the silent treatment the next day. And he must had realized it, because he had stopped trying to get her laugh.
They were silent most of the time.
"Gabriella..." Luke said. "Please don't be mad at me."
"Abby, when will you stop ignoring me?"
"I really miss your laugh."
She ALMOST smiled at that last one.

That night, she got some texts from luke.
She had given him her number when they went to McDonald's.
Luke: are you still going to ignore me tomorrow?
Luke: I don't get why are you doing this.
He didn't get why she was ignoring him?
