The next day, luke didn't come to the elevator. Gabriella had waited for him (for 7 minutes and 39 seconds, to be exact.) But he didn't show up. And she was getting worried.

Last time he didn't meet her at the elevator, he got back with his face full of bruises.

Not to mention he was acting really weird yesterday.

Gabriella didn't know why she was worrying about Luke. He was a big guy, he could surely take care of himself. But she just couldn't help herself.

She decided to walk to his flat just to check on him. Just in case something happened, she thought. She was just going to knock on his door when she heard voices.

It was a girl's voice. Like, a really young girl, probably 8 or something. She was crying pretty loudly.

She looked at the flat number just to make sure it was luke's. And surely it was. 711.

And then 2 men voices joined in. One of them was luke's.

"I don't know, tom. What am I supposed to do?"

"Just do everything like how you've done it so far. If you find-"

Luke was okay. And it was none of Gabriella's business. She could not eavesdrop.

She walked back to the elevator and went to work. There was a question that kept lingering on her mind.

Why did luke have a young girl in his flat?
