All my clothes are tighter than I remember.
I'm hungry, I'm tired, I have cramps and my emotions are everywhere.
I also... Feel really sick.
I jumped out of bed and ran to the bathroom.
"You okay hon?" Pine says grabbing my hair like always.
"Yeah, yeah just gotta ride it out." I wheezed.
"You hungry?"
"Starving. But, I can never keep anything down." I looked down at my belly that was barely starting to show. "What do you have against me and food?" I said to... Um, it.
It's too early to know the gender of the baby but, honestly I don't care. As long as they're healthy. Pine feels the same.
"Let's go down to the common room." I said.
"No offense love but, I highly suggest brushing your teeth first."
I cupped my hand in front of my mouth and breathed into it. I gagged.
"Yep. Probably a good idea."
I was brushing my teeth when tears started rolling down my cheeks.
"Lina?"
"Yeah, I'm fine. I literally have no idea why I'm crying I just..."
Pine came over and hugged me. I rested my head in the crease of his neck.
"You should sleep in." He said.
"You say that everyday."
"You're like this everyday."
"No, no I'm fine now see?" I said wiping my face off. "Let's go to the common room."
"You do know what time it is right?" Pine said holding up his watch.
I looked at it. The electronic numbers read 3:00 AM.
"Oh babe, I'm sorry. I didn't mean to wake you up this early."
"It's all good. Sleep is overrated."
"You go lay down while I change." I said.
When I walked back into our room, Pine was fast asleep on the bed.
I couldn't sleep so I turned out the light and headed for the common room.
When I got there the TV was on but the volume was off.
River sat up and turned to look at me.
"Can't sleep still?"
"Yeah. You?"
"I still get nightmares." She said. "Come here."
I walked over to the couch and sat with her. She put her arm around me.
We curled up and fell asleep on the couch together.
I love her. My sister.
