All They Told Me Was Just Give Up

Chapter 20

Elise’s POV

I put in my earphones and started playing my music really loudly. It’s the only thing that numbed the pain. Hospital For Souls, The Great Hendowski, Hold on Till May, Bulls in the Bronx, Remembering Sunday, Therapy, A Prophecy, Cemetery Weather, The Day I Left The Womb, and almost every Mayday Parade and Jamestown Story song known to man ran through my earphones as I sat there and cried. Why did this have to happen?

I was in and out of consciousness for the next few hours falling very lightly asleep to only wake up minutes or at most an hour later. I didn’t know what time it was, I didn’t want to know, I didn’t care. I only dreaded when Austin would come back. He would have to see me like this and he would want to get involved. But he can’t help me out on this one.

I was awake now. I took out my headphones and listened for voices. I didn’t hear anything so I opened the curtain to the bunk a little and peaked out. No one was around. I checked my phone for the time, it was only 7 meaning people were still preforming and some were hanging out outside with other bands. I got up from the bunk and made my way to the place we kept the alcohol. I was about to grab the Jack Daniel’s bottle when I had a better thought. I grabbed my phone and sent out a text.

Me: Hey what are you guys doing right now? I was wondering if I could come over to your bus and party.

A.FuckingA.ssholeDanny: Yeah, sure. Where’s Austin?

Me: idk. But I need alcohol so yeah…

A.FuckingA.ssholeDanny: We can help with that ;D

Me: Be over in a few.

Maybe if I got a few drinks in me I could feel better about this whole thing…
