I helped destiny clean the baby room today.
We agreed we would make it a mini library.
I wanted to start reading more and destiny laughed at the thought of me reading.
This is the first time destiny has been happy in the last like 5 months.
Well I should say happy. More like, just smiley.
When she went out with Abby yesterday I think that really helped.
After cleaning out the room and putting the baby stuff in the storage room in the basement we both got cleaned up.
I was taking destiny out on a date.
"You ready?" I asked and she nodded her head.
I took her to a theater play and she wanted to go to McDonalds but I wanted to go to the Steak House Grill.
We ended up going to McDonald's.
We got home and it was late, we checked on Lilly and Mia who were sleeping.
"Destiny?" I asked as I came back into the room from getting a shower and found her watching the baby monitor.
"Des, that's only gonna make you sadder watching the baby sleeping" I said
"Look!" She screamed
She rewinded the recording to the night the baby died.
We watched it.
A girl walked into the room very slowly and quietly, wearing gloves on her hands.
She picked up the sleepy Madi quietly and put her in a trash bag and tied it shut laying he bag down in the crib.
She then left the room.
Destiny fast forwarded four more hours.
The girl picked up the bag and untied it and took Madi out and tucked her under the blankets the way she found her sleeping.
As the girl turned around to leave a glimpse of her face showed.
Holy shit.
Madi didn't die of SIDs.
Madi was murdered.
