Chapter 17

Megan's P.O.V

I practice softball/baseball with Tyler, mom, Ryan, and with dad when I'm at dads.

"Bye dad" I hugged him and walked off the plane and into mom's car.

Once we got home I got ready for the softball game. I am backup pitcher now. I've never pitched during a game before just at practices.

I didn't pitch this game either . I was catcher.

We still won.

I got home and since it was spring and nice out I swam.

Tomorrow is Monday

I got ready for bed and went to sleep.

Tyler dropped me off.

As I walked someone called my name

"Megan!" He yelled. I turned around and saw Caleb

"Hey Caleb" I said

" what's up" he asked

"School"

"Same"

"I gotta go my locker is this way" I said and we went separate ways.

After school I walked out of the school and looked for Tyler's car and found him and Ryan.

Ryan smiled at me and I smiled back and started walking towards them. Till someone tapped my shoulder.

"Hey Caleb"I said

"Hey megan I was thinking we could hang sometime?" He asked

"Sure" I said and took his phone out of his hand. I typed in my number. "I gotta go but text me later" .

"Hey Tyler" I said

"Hey Megan" he said back

"Hey Ryan " I said

"Hey Megan" he said not smiling. Oh crap. Ryan likes me and just saw me talking to another guy. Well then.

"Who was the guy?" Tyler asked. He knows Ryan is jealous so he is just messing around and making it worse.

"His names Caleb and he's a friend" I answered

"A friend?" He said joking like he was surprised I had a friend. I rolled my eyes and laughed.

While we were driving home my phone went off.

C- hey it's Caleb

M- hey what's up

C-nmu

M-just in the car

C- wanna hang friday?

M-sure

C-great , c ya tomorrow

M-bye

"Tyler you don't have to pick me up Friday " I said once we got home and Ryan want around

"Why?" He asked

"I'm gonna hang with Caleb and his sister will pick us up" I said

"Ok" he nodded .

+++ Friday +++

After school I waited at the doors of the school for Caleb.

"Hey Megan " he said coming out of the school.

"Hey Caleb " I said

"My sis is parked over here" he said and I followed . We got in the car.

"Megan this is my sister liana , liana this is Megan " Caleb introduced us.

"Hi Megan ' she said

"Hi " I said back

We got to his house and played Xbox. We ate dinner and threw baseball.

For once I felt normal.

I felt like he was an actual friend, like I did matter, like he cared, like I wasn't famous for once , like I wasn't being laughed at.

"Thanks for having me over" I said

"Thanks for coming" he said , I hugged him then got into moms car,

"So how did the date go?" She asked

"It wasn't a date , we were just hanging " I corrected her.

"Well when you get home you might notice someone's jealous " she said. She confused me till I real sized Ryan's probably at the house.

"Do you think Ryan likes me?" I asked

"That's not even question, the answer is so obvious" she said and I agreed.

"How was the date " Tyler teased. Ryan was right next to him which made it worse

"It wasn't a date we were just hanging out" I said

"We all know how that goes" Tyler asked, he thought Ryan would laugh but no Ryan had a straight face. He doesn't hide his emotions.

"What's wrong Ryan" I asked. Wow am I stupid

"Are you stupid?" He asked.

"Yeah I think I know why..." I said and eyed Tyler telling him to leave so I could talk to Ryan. Tyler left the living room and went to his room. It was just me and Ryan.

"What's the big deal Ryan its just a friend" I said

"But friends turn into more" he said "they either become family or you know date them"

"You don't have to worry. I'm going no where"

"But I have to worry, I mean Caleb pretty good looking guy... Not as hot as me... And Megan your beautiful" he said starring into my eyes.

"We'll do you even like me?"

"Wow, do you not spot the obvious?" He asked like I was stupid

"Well if you want it you gotta put your name on it" I smiled. He leaned over and kissed me.

"I will... You just watch" he smiled and ran up to Tyler probably to play video games.

I went to my room and did homework. It was Friday so I can stay up and listen to music.

"Megan can you help me with homework?" Mia asked coming in my room.

"Me help you?" I asked amazed. She nodded.

I looked over her homework , it was math.

"This is all wrong " I shook my head.

"I know I suck at math," she admitted

"No it's not you, yeah all your work is wrong but that's because the teacher either just typed these problems wrong or has been teaching you guys wrong" I corrected her.

"Well they aren't typed wrong cause he teaches us that way during class too."

"Well ..." I went on and told her how it actually goes. I wonder what teacher it is. If it's Mr. Macao that whole class will fail.

I helped her with her homework and she left, she said thank you. I'm so surprised she asked me for help. Well who am I kidding, she has Tyler to ask who is busy with friends, Justin which is who knows where, mom who is in the gym working out, and Lilly who's fucking retarded.

I went to moms gym and worked out with her a little. It's fun. She does a lot of work I'll tell you that.
