Chapter 12

Megan's P.O.V

Today after school was the first practice.

I got ready and got my softball bag with all my stuff in it.

"You ready?" Mom asked me while we were in the car. Mom taught me the basics at home. I'm actually better at throwing then I thought I would.

At practice the coach told me everyone's names. I didn't know any of them but I recognize some of them from school.

None of them were Lilly or Mia's friends. They might know them and talk with them but none were in Lilly and Mia's little group that bully me. All of their friends cheer or play football.

I was ok I guess. Only cause mom taught me the basics. Everyone was surprised that Destiny Sandler was my mom. I'm used to that kinda stuff. Nobody expects that Destiny Sandler... Or Bieber is my mom.

After practice is was 6 cause it started at 4.

I get off school at 2:30.

After practice the girls walk over to the park which is right next to the field. I didn't walk over. I put my stuff in the car and put on my hoodie on .

"Hey Megan come to the park with us" Lindsey said. She's a girl on the team

I walked over to the park with them.

"Your pretty good for your first year " brook said

"Thanks. My mom taught me the basics so I knew something ." I said

"Well your pretty good" Lindsey said

"Wait your in my English class right ?" Madi said

"Yeah I didn't think you knew who I was" I said

"Well I knew who you were but I didn't know your name " she said

"I gotta go. My mom is having her family over" I said

"You mean like Adam , drew, Spencer, and Carson ?" Kenna asked

"Yeah. My uncles and their wife's and my cousins and my grandparents so yeah bye" I said and left.

Wow. They were actually talking to me.

"How did you like your first practice " mom asked

"I guess it was fun. " I said

"I saw you making some friends " she said and wiggled her eyebrows, I laughed.

"I don't know if you could say they're my friends yet" I said and mom just nodded lightly.

We went home and I changed into different clothes. We ate dinner early at 3:30 so that me and mom could leave at 4. I came downstairs from changing and everyone was in the living room.

"Megan!" Grandpa said hugging me. Then grandma hugged me. I said uncle Spencer .

"UNCLE CARSON!" I yelled . Uncle Carson is the best. Spencer is fun to but Carson always makes me laugh.

"You've grown" he said . I smiled

I said hi to all my cousins.

Spencer had two kids with Zendaya . Mike is 12 and Brianna is 15

Carson had 1 kid with a girl name Jenna. Morgan in 14

And Luke had two kids with a girl named Hannah. Evan is 4 and Jaxson is 8

Morgan is my favorite cousin. Mostly cause she is the only one to talk to me. My other cousins aren't mean to me, I mean they talk to me and stuff but Morgan could be a friend? I don't know I only get to see her like 2 times a year.

"Megan!" Morgan yelled and hugged me.

"I missed you a lot " I said

"Me too. We should talk more like even texting , it seems like we only talk when we see each other" she said. I nodded. Everyone was inside so me and Morgan went outside to talk.

"So do you like any one" she said. She's weird but I love her.

"No no no" I said really fast

"Aww why?" She asked

"No one likes me" I said, I hate talking about how shitty my life is.

"What?" She asked

"No one understands. I don't have friends. I lie to my parents and tell them I do and the only person who knows is Tyler and Lilly and Mia I don't even wanna talk about" I said getting it out.

"What do Lilly and Mia do?" She asked .

"Nothing" I lied

"Please tell me, I won't tell. " she begged

"I can't" I said

"I'm your cousin, I'm your friend, I should know" she said

"You consider me your friend?" I asked

She nodded.

"Wow" I said

"Lilly and Mia bully you don't they?" She asked. I nodded. "Come here" she hugged me tightly. I guess she's a really good cousin.

We talked some more.

Everyone was staying over till Saturday. Since we had a lot of extra/guest bedrooms they just used the extra bedrooms.

I'm glad Morgan will be with me for a week.
