Dr. Tanner and Director Thomason stood side by side in their military uniforms. They watched as the jet black helicopter landed on the base, blades slowing down as President Russel exited. Four armed guards escorted him into the building.

"Great to see you again, gentlemen," the president said as he shook each of their hands.

"Good afternoon, sir. I trust that you recovered after last night's call?" Dr. Tanner asked, remembering how the president had worried about how much Celia saw. He immediately ordered every worker to stay out of Celia's sight out of fear of her finding the truth in a bad way.

Thomason lead the group to the observation room. The president looked around him at the newest projects: Large astroplanes, flight machines that could also double as emergency spacecraft, laser guns, 10 times more efficient than the first prototype made in 2033, and the new drug that heals bones in a week.

They stopped at the observation room and walked to the first desk. Dr. Tanner pulled up a chair for the director and president and typed in a command. The glass screen asked for the password and he typed in a series of random letters and numbers. Five glass screens shone to life showing footage of the cameras. Dr. Tanner gestured to the one with 001, 002, and 004. He clicked on the screen for audio.

"Ouch!" patient 004, Celia Hilton yelled as 002, Jayden Wood touched her shoulder.

"Stay still, I've never tried this on a dislocated limb before," she fussed. Jayden's hand healed the shoulder where Celia had dislocated it. "How is it now?"

Celia wiggled her fingers. "Sore, but I'll be fine."

Everything was quiet. The observers who were usually goggling at them through the glass were nowhere to be seen. Not a single doc or scientist appeared anywhere in the cameras after the president ordered isolation. The government has only dealt with two other telepaths before, but Celia was the only one who had to look into someone's eyes to read their thoughts.

All of the sudden, a strong breeze blew some papers off of the table. The trio looked to see 001, Marcus Hilton, speed into the room. "Where the Hell is everyone?" He asked. Celia and Jayden picked up the papers and staked them back on their spot.

"They are hiding from me. I saw something that I'm sure I wasn't supposed to see."

President Russel sighed. They needed the project to start as soon as possible, but he needed all of them to be on board.

"It's time," President Russel said. He was escorted to Room 67 where the four were. Dr. Pam helped him into a chemical suit.

He took a deep breath and walked into the room.
