In reality children can be killed easily. And if you hit one no one is gonna care that much. And they don't mess with the elders.
You can't go on dangerous adventures with your kid because it will probably die.
In Skyrim children are fucking GODS. YOU HIT ONE JUST BECAUSE HE SAID HE WANTS TO PLAY TAG WITH YOU AND EVERYONE STARTS ATTAKING YOU(even your follower)! What the hell did i do wrong???? You wanted to play tag. That's what you get from playing with kids.(I always tought children are evil, and now I have a proof).
Having kids in Skyrim is so easy. You just pay some gold and there you have your mini god.
