Okay, so I've been lying.

I'm not broke.

No, don't be mad now, I have a very valid reason... Okay maybe it's not enough to be a valid one but I'm sure you'll understand.

I borrow books from the library and return them late on purpose. It's not like I wanna be drowning in library debt but I do 'cause I know it will catch Patrick' s attention. I read a book in three days tops, then time it on how late I'll be returning it.

I'm an asshole.

And if you think that bumping onto him at the supermarket was also on purpose, it is. Yikes, right? I just like Patrick so much. I got Alex and Jack in my plan of talking to him without actually breaking into a fight since I know Patrick couldn't stand me at first. They were very reluctant at first, but I promised them pizza and beer so they agreed.

I was so surprised he asked me out. I know I'm a bad person, lying to Patrick like that. He even bought me books that I can totally afford. Just shows how much of an asshole I really am. And how nice Patrick really is.

I feel guilty.

But hey, I'm being honest about almost everything to him. Just not the 'I'm son of a rich-ass record dealer and I can totally buy you' part. I'm still Pete Wentz III, just the slightly open book version.

I also bought that Starbucks. But it's true that Brendon works there. He's the only one (besides Patrick, Mikey, Jack and Alex) who can tolerate my shit without befriending me just because of money. But okay maybe Patrick didn't know I'm rich as fuck and he did befriended me because I was cute or something.

How'd I know? Well, the amount of his blushing gives it off. He's cute when he blushes.

Okay, no, he's cute all the time. Makes me wanna bang him.

Wait, what? Shhh, don't tell Patty I thought about that.

Since I got nothing else to do besides lie on my couch all day, I text Patrick.

I don't. My dad doesn't want me to. He let me live simple but he doesn't want me to work hard on it. Stupid, really. I can't break it. There's always people watching. One time I tried working in Starbucks with Brendon and the next day, my boss fired me because of my tattoos. I pissed, for sure, and I found out my Dad paid them to fire me. Since then, I didn't even try to do shit about it.
