After Merida and Rapunzel found Merida's locker it was already break time Merida dumped all of her books except Biology, then both went to cafeteria to order their food.

Rapunzel got two trays and handed the other one to Merida. They both went in line to order their food. When they were done, they looked around for any available seat. Merida quickly spotted one and called out to Rapunzel.

"Hey! Over here!" Merida yelled then walked towards the table with Rapunzel following her closely behind.

They both sat across each other and started to eat.

"So... Who are those girls that were bullying you?" Merida nonchalantly asked taking a sip of her apple smoothie. Rapunzel instantly stiffened.

"T-they're my uhm... Uh... They're my cousins" Rapunzel stammered.

Merida nearly choked on her drink. What the hell? The one who bullies her is her own cousins?! Unbelievable!

Merida saw Rapunzel look down as if she was ashamed. She sighed and grabbed her Rapunzel's hand.

"Don't worry now alright? I'm here now and I won't leave you. I promise to protect you from those pigs" Merida promised making Rapunzel brighten up.

"Thank you! Really!" Rapunzel squealed.

" Hey I hope you don't mind me asking but what's with the long hair?" Merida pointed at her friend's long hair. Rapunzel grinned sheepishly.

" Well it's a long story"

"I don't mind, I love a good story"

Rapunzel bit her lip, she really isn't comfortable telling her story to other people.

'But she my friend! My only friend!'

"Uh... "

"It's okay if you don't want to. I can respect that"

"No! Um well, when I was about to be born, my mother got sick so it was difficult for her to deliver me. It was also risky since we both might die so my Father ordered his men to find the legendary sun flower. It was said, that the flower could heal any sickness and make anyone younger for thousands of years if you sing to it. Eventually my Father's men found it and brought it back to my mother, she drank the sun flower's nectar with water and then I was born. I had long blonde hair ever since and to keep it healthy and alive I sang to it everyday and made sure nobody would cut it. Not even one strand" Rapunzel explained.

Merida sat there looking shocked and amazed.

"What happens when you cut it?" Merida asked.

Rapunzel gave her a wry smile and gathered her hair to the right, revealing a dull brown part of her hair.

"It turns brown and loses it's power"

"So you mean that you can heal anyone and make them young by just singing to your hair?"

"No, well yes-but I have to wrap my hair first to the injured or they need to have direct contact with it"

"Wow... That's an awesome power there" Merida exclaimed.

Rapunzel only giggled. "It's not much though really, what about you? What kind of power you have?"

Merida shrugged. "I can control fire and do telekinesis"

"Awesome! Did you know that here in DAGH, students having two kinds of power is really rare?"

"Really? I didn't know that"

Rapunzel nodded. They looked at the clock above the door, it read 9:16 am. Their next class starts at 10:00. They quickly finished their food and got ready.

"What's your next subject? " Merida asked Rapunzel as they walked outside the cafeteria.

"Biology, you?"

"Same"

"Great! Just let me get my book"

"Sure"

They were chatting nonsense things as they walked over to Rapunzel's locker a few feet from Merida's.

When Rapunzel opened her locker, they were surprised at what they saw. It was a dead bird with a note on it's beak saying 'THIS SHOULD BE YOU'

They heard a few laughing students they looked at their left to see the girls-err Rapunzel's cousins earlier. They walked away with everyone giving them way like they carried a disease. Merida snorted at the thought.

She just grabbed the dead bird using a scratch paper from the floor and threw it in the trash can.

Rapunzel got her book and they went to their next class.

Merida and Rapunzel sat beside each other and waited for the class to start.

"Hey, do you maybe wanna come over and hang out at my house?" Merida asked. Rapunzel nodded and opened her book to read, so did Merida.

After a few minutes the classroom started to fill in with some students. Merida felt someone throw a crumpled paper on her head. She looked around, curious, then she opened it.

"Ugly Frizzhead, you don't belong here" said the note.

Merida just crumpled the paper back and took a deep breath.

"Mind if I seat here, Beautiful?" A voice of a man asked.

Merida looked up to see a boy with messy white hair like snow wearing a black leather jacket, jeans, a white undershirt, and blue canvasses.

He was smirking giving Merida a impression that he's a troublemaker. She looked around to check if she was the one who he was asking.

"Yes, you Redhead" The guy said, chuckling.

Somehow his comment about her hair annoyed her but she only remained calm and shrugged.

"It's a free country" Merida said and returned reading her book.

The boy frowned and took his seat next to the fiery girl.

"My name's Jack by the way" The boy, now known as Jack, said.

"I'm not asking" Merida said, not looking at him.

" I know, I just wanted you to know"

"Why? It's not like I'm interested in knowing your name"

Jack was taken aback, usually girls would want to get to know him, talk to him but this girl's different. He smirked again, he likes this girl.

" Is that so? You sure you're not lying or playing hard to get?"

This time Merida looked at him, surprised.

"Why the hell would I do that? Look, just shut up and leave me alone" Merida sternly said and returned to her book.

Jack was never the one to follow orders, he was about to talk again but fortunately for Merida, their professor came and everyone began to sit and quiet down.

"Good morning everyone, as for the old students you already know me. And for the new ones, I'm Professor Nicholas Claus, but you can call me Sir North. Please introduce yourselves in front new students! " Sir North said happily.

No one stood up except Merida. She walked in front and introduced herself.

"My name's Merida Dunbroch, from Scotland. You can call me Mer" She said and walked back to her seat flashing Rapunzel a small smile.

Other students came in front and introduced themselves but Merida didn't bother to listen.

They didn't do anything much since it was the first day of school.

The day went by great for Rapunzel cuz she found a new friend and as for Merida she got pissed due to being constantly teased, annoyed and irritated by the one and only Jack Frost.
