Chapter 10- The Snow Children.

Hiccup saw Merida's face and sent her an apologetic look. He was with Jack and his current girlfriend, Elsa.

He originally planned to come here alone because he has something to tell Merida about the prophecy but then Jack insisted to come with him, knowing Jack he was stubborn so he agreed but what made it worse was that Elsa joined in, since it was rude to not to let her come he agreed.

But he really hated himself for letting her come. Three words: SHE. IS. ANNOYING.

He came up to Merida and sighed.

"I know how you feel. But I Have something to tell you" He said in a serious manner.

She nodded then she dropped the cloth and gently placed the plates back into the cabinet. She asked Tiana, her co-worker, to take over for a while then she took her phone then took off her apron then went out of the counter.

Hiccup looked at her with wide eyes, he didn't expect her to wear this kind of clothes, especially a skirt!

"I'll tell you later. Leggo?" Merida asked. Hiccup only nodded.

Hiccup's POV.

I could feel myself heat up. Oh gods! I didn't know Mer's this hot!

Ok, I admit, I've liked Merida for a very long time it was love at first sight. Corny, I know.

We came face-to-face with Jack and Elsa. Jack gave her a smirk and Elsa gave her a glare, but Merida being Merida she crossed her arms and shifted her weight to the left then smirked that matched Jack's.

"Well, Well... If it isn't Miss Elsa? Funny seeing you here eh?" Merida asked in faking a English Accent.

Elsa rolled her eyes then linked her arms on Jack's shoulder

"We heard you sing, it was awful!" Elsa sneered.

Merida rolled her eyes then shrugs. "Is that so? Then why are they clapping and praising me?"

Elsa kept her mouth shut. I tapped Mer's shoulder and pointed outside, she smiled then we went outside.

We went to the park across the cafe since no one was in here. We stood behind a tree and looked around.

"Coast is clear. What's up?" Merida whispered.

I looked at her. " MiM told me something about the prophecy again, it says that the Snow Children will help us in also defeating Pitch. We need to find them, Mer. Before Pitch does" I said.

She seemed to be annoyed but then returned to being serious. "What does the prophecy say about them besides being the Snow Children? Any clues, like their marks or features?"

"Yes, they are both girls. Their mark are twin hearts, but I don't know where it is located"

Mer and I started to think. Where could they possibly be?

"Tomorrow. Let's go to the HQ tomorrow, I need to check into some files about some possible people to be the Snow Children. And I'll bring the first with me then we can show her around then maybe teach her some moves to defend herself" Merida whispered.

" Sure, I'll inform them later. I'm pretty sure they'll be excited to see you again, especially Vanellope and Ralph. Oh and then maybe you can meet the new recruits"

"There are new one's? Huh, why didn't Mum tell me?" She asked to no one in particular.

"Maybe she's just busy, being a spy and all. There are, maybe, 56 new recruits. I don't know all their names because I rarely go to O. S"

She looked at her watch then sighed quite loudly. " We should go back, I'm late for dinner"

We ran towards the cafe to see Jack all alone in the corner, flirting with some girls. Where's Elsa?

Merida ran straight to where her friends sat and said something then went to Tiana who was in the kitchen then to the changing room.

I walked over Jack, he doesn't seem to have noticed me because he's busy flirting but that's ok, great actually, atleast I could concentrate on making a plan for tomorrow.

'I think it's best if we get there in the morning? Hmm I'll just ask Merida later" I thought.

Merida came out of the changing room wearing a simple blue T-shirt, her red jacket, jeans, and rubber shoes.

Her friends followed her too then they went home, I think? After a couple of minutes, I went home alone. Jack left earlier with his new fling.

"Tsk! Tsk! Elsa would freak out if she learns about this" I muttered as I lied down to my bed.

I rolled over to get my laptop under my bed. Yes, I keep my laptop hidden under my bed so my father won't mess with it.

I logged in to Skype then contacted my boss, MiM. He answered my call but I couldn't see his face, just his shadow.

"What is it Hiccup?" he asked.
"Manny, Merida wants to visit there in H.Q, she said she'll bring with her the first and she wants to check into some files about the possible Snow Children. Is that ok?"

I could see Manny nod. "Of course! I would love to see that old fire ball again, what time does she want to come? And when?"

"Tomorrow. Wait I'll just text her" I got my phone then sent her a message, after 10 seconds she finally replied.

From: Merida.

  How about noon? 2:30? I need to go grocery shopping tomorrow and review for my exam on Monday.

I replied a simple 'ok' then turned to Manny.

"Noon, at 2:30 pm" I said.

"Okay, I'll tell the others. Goodbye Hiccup"

"Thank you, sir and good bye"

I ended the call then went to sleep, dreaming about a girl with red and wild hair.
