Chapter 17- Oh no.

(A/N: This is it guys, I'm  sorry it took long. And yes I know the title sucks because my mind is too lazy to think about a title. So yeap and, um, this is a time-skip/ fast forward from the previous chapter).

Before Merida went home she ran to where Jack is.

"Hey doofus! Hey, wait!" Merida yelled but Jack kept on walking.

"OMG!!! JACK IS SOOO HOT!"- Girl #1.

"Gosh, who does she think she is to call Jack a doofus?!" -Girl #2.

"I know right?! And Jack's not a doofus."- Girl #3.

"Damn! Tsk!" Merida cursed under her breath and used her fire powers to help her fly towards Jack.

"Frost! Hey, wait!" Merida yelled again.

She grabbed his left shoulder and spun him around so he can face her then she dropped her feet on the ground.

"Hey, what the hell?!!! What do you you're doing, Ugly?!" Jack screamed at her, annoyed.

Merida clicked her tongue. "Look, I just want to ask you if you're going to help me make a song? We can do it in my place if you want?"

Jack was about to decline but they both heard Tooth call his name. In a flirty way.

"Oh, Jack~ where are you, Babe?"

Merida can't help but mentally laugh but on the outside she just stared at Jack with her poker face on.

"So what? 'R we good or not?" Merida asked.

Jack looked at her like he was panicking. He grabbed her arm and walked fast towards the exit.

"On second thought, yes!" He said.

"Oi! No touching! Let me go, get your filthy hands of meee!!!" Merida yelled while struggling.

"Shut up!" Jack yelled back they were now outside, he dragged her to the parking lot where his black pick-up truck was parked.

He let go of her arm and went inside to start the engine. Merida just stood there rubbing her arm and staring at him.

"What are you doing just standing there? Get in" Jack said. Merida did get in while whispering about him being a jerk.

The ride was quick. Jack parked in front of his house then both of them went outside.

"Hey, what are we doing here?" Merida asked.

Jack unlocked the door before he replied, "I want to do our project here. I'm not comfortable when I'm staying at the house of someone I don't know"

Merida gawked at him. "W-what? What do you mean you don't know me?"

"What I mean is, I'm not comfortable when I'm with someone who I'm not close with. Come in" Jack said then they both went inside.

Jack led her to the living room before he went to the kitchen to get them some snacks. Merida took out her pad paper and pen. Her phone buzzed, signalling a text.

She unlocked it to check who it is.

From: Unknown number.

I know where you are. Just wait.

Merida dropped her phone and felt herself panicking. She looked around the house to check if there was any of Pitch's minions outside.
