Chapter 8- Revelations.

(Still Punzie's POV)

I was shocked. Pitch Black? As in Pitch Black the most evil villain that ever lived? And the one who killed and kidnapped some children?

"Are you joking Mer? It's not funny"

"I wish I was, Punzie but no. It's true... Do you wish to know more about me?" She asked.

I eagerly nodded. Truth is, I'm really curious about Merida, who she really is, what's her mother's work, why did she move here is Berk? But I kept my mouth shut, afraid that she might think I'm annoying and that I'm invading her personal life.

"My Mother and Father are Elinor and Fergus Dunbroch. They were both the most important spies of O. S-that means Organization for Superheroes- when I was born, there was a prophecy that said 4 children are destined to defeat Pitch once and for all. I haven't read the prophecy yet but my parents did. They say that the prophecy changes from time to time." Merida paused.

"when I was born, Pitch kidnapped me because he knew that I'm one of those four children that will defeat him. He took me in and took care of me as if I were his own daughter. But what he didn't know was that I know what he is doing, my Mom uses her telepathic powers to speak to me when I turned one and also kept an eye on me when Pitch took me in."

"Wait, why didn't they just get you back from Pitch?" I asked.

"They can't because of his Nightmares they were strong at that time. And he threatened them that they'll kill me if they tried" Mer explains. I nodded.

"My life was like hell. If I made a mistake during my was training, he would beat me up till I pass out. He killed my Dad-Mom went into extreme depression after that, I started to cut myself too when Mom told me- then when I went to school people would beat me up again because they thought I was really Pitch's daughter." Merida said. "And that's why I always wear long sleeves and pants. To cover my bruises and cuts" she showed me the cuts and sick looking bruises on her arms.

I started crying, I didn't know that Merida lived this way, she seems to be carefree and brave. Merida hugged me and tried to comfort me when I should be the one doing this to her. After a few minutes I finally stopped crying.

"I'm sorry Punz, I shouldn't have told you my story."

"No, I want to know more about you, Mer. Tell me everything!" I demanded.

Merida nodded and I wiped my tears.

"When I turned 7 I gave out information to my Mom then she'll give it to her boss, that's why we always defeat the villains and that's when I met Hiccup. And when I turned 13, Pitch started giving me outdoor missions but I always managed to sneak into O. S and not get caught, until Pitch followed me. He wrecked havoc in O. S but he was eventually defeated. Then I started living with my mom but he didn't stop making us miserable."

"My mission is to find the other three in the prophecy and Punzie..."

Merida looked at me again "You're one of them..."

I stared at her. "What? H-How could that happen?"

Merida smiled a gentle smile. "I'll ask you something, do you have any unusual tattoo on your skin? Like maybe a flower?" She asked.

I nodded. " Yes!" I said

"Can I see it?" she asked. I put my hair on the side to reveal a flower tattoo on behind my neck. I heard her chuckle.

"That's your mark, Punzie. You're the flower of the sun and she who heals all wounds and hearts. " Merida said.

I felt excitement, fear, anticipation and happiness. I'm going to be a hero like my bestie!

"Then who are the others?" I asked.

"The third one is Hiccup and I'm the fourth. Me and Hic are still trying to find the second one."

I nodded and asked her. "What's your mark, Mer? And what does the prophecy tell about you?"

Merida turned around then lifted her shirt a little to reveal a beautiful arrow tattoo/mark. She brought it down again. "I'm the daughter of Artemis and she who brings light and bravery."

"Should we tell the others?"

She shrugged. "Sure"

"Great! But we have to make them promise that they'll need to keep it a secret" I said.

We both stood up and went inside to tell the others, as expected, they all cried even Mer's Mom. When I told them( my friends) about the deal at first they were shocked but they agreed, Merida's Mom gave me a hug after we revealed that I was the first, then after a couple more movies and snacks we finally called it a night.
