Oh look! Another Peterick book! It's a soulmate AU, as cliché as it sounds. I got this idea when my Dad told me about life is like a candle and stuff, then I got a lightbulb moment and wrote everything.

Things in the story:

- Alternatively Pete and Patrick's POV, with occasional other people

- The candles signify the lifetime of a person and that person is your soulmate. Uhh Patrick will narrate the whole shabam in the first chapter but if you have questions, you can message me :)

- Soul Punk era Patrick and 2007 Pete, coz I love both of those and I'd pay a lot of money to go back in time and relive it; but it'll change later in the chapters

- Fall Out Boy, Panic!, MCR, ATL, Halsey, Melanie Martinez and the characters in the story are entirely not related so expect Pete and Patrick fanboying over FOB Pete and Patrick. It's confusing, really

- IF YOU CAN'T HANDLE EMOTIONAL ROLLERCOASTER, YOU BETTER TURN THE OTHER WAY FRIENDO

- Trigger warnings are put on the start of chapters. Mentions of mental illness.

- This is mostly drama, and if ever it'll have a sexy time part, I'll skip them over.

- There's Trohley, a lil Ryden, a lil Jalex, a lil Halsanie, a lil Dallkey (Dallon and Mikey, I ship them but idk their ship name so), and the tiniest Frerard.

- Patrick is highkey troubled.

- Patrick tops if you ask lmao I've seen arguments on who tops in this ship, and I'm still in between but since I'm already writing a story wherein Pete is dom, I want this one to be a dom Patrick

- Profanities, text messages and a lot of "why the hell did you do that?!?"

- This is a world where being gay is accepted, and just the soulmate that matters.

- Chapter names are the song moods
