        Albert was so mad at what Lavinia did to Melanie. He excused himself, leaving Derrick continue the meeting, and ran after Lavinia.

Lavinia was caught by Albert as she was entering her car and grabbed her.

"What the actual fuck, Lavinia?" he asked. "Why did you do that to her? She didn't do anything to you. If you are mad, be mad at me, not at her. She is innocent."

"I love you, Albert. I did everything to make you love me. Then after all those years you will tell me that you didn't actually fell in love with me? You fooled me. And that was all because of that Melanie girl."

"That's why i broke up with you, Lavinia. Because I don't want to be unfair to you. IT won't be fair that you fell in love with me when I am still in love with someone else. I ended it up with you. We are done. Keep that in your mind!

"I'm sorry, Albert, please. Come back to me, please. I won't bother her anymore. I love you. We can just go back to the US. Sell you business, shut it down. Let's leave the country and start over again."

"Excuse me? What did you just tell me? Sell the hotel, shut it down?"

"Erm, Yes. You're having problems with your business, right? Shut it down. You won't have a problem anymore after that. I'll find you a good buyer if you want? You know I can help you with that?"

"You know what?! LEAVE, LAVINIA, LEAVE! If you ever come back here again, I'm sorry to GOD, but you will regret ever knowing me."

Crying, Lavinia get in her car and left the place. He looked back at the cafe and saw Derrick continuing the meeting for him. Ana was there, too. There is no sign of Melanie.

"Boss, we're almost done with the meeting," Derrick said as he entered the cafe.

Ana is looking at her with both concern and anger in her eyes. He took his seat but didn't utter any words to anyone. The meeting ended. The rest of the board left the cafe escorted by Derrick.

Bella returned to the cafe after leaving Melanie in her office. Ana and Bella grabbed Albert and started yelling at him for what happened earlier.

Albert told his story with Lavinia. He told them about what happened to him in the US. Ana and Bella were speechless. They don't know what to say. They are torn between their two best friends.

After talking to the cousins, Albert was allowed to see Melanie in her office.

"Melanie, can we talk?" he asked.

"What is it, Al? I told you to leave me alone," Melanie said without looking at him.

"Wow, AL. It's been a while since I heard that nickname. No one called me Al other than you and dad. I missed that name. In fact, I missed that person, too."

Melanie looked at Albert. He looked hurt remembering his dad again. She approached Albert and held his hand.

"Al, I didn't know what happened to Lavinia. But I don't care anymore. You know what, ever since I first saw you step in tis cafe, I wanted to hug you, embrace you. I even thought I was dreaming when I saw you."

Albert and Melanie looked at each other's eyes. And what happened next got them both surprised. Albert reached for Melanie's lips and they kissed. A sweet kiss between a boy who made a promise to a girl that he will love her forever, until their last breath.

Melanie is Albert's love, his kiss and his heart. All the emptiness within him for the past seven years disappeared at that moment. There was no need for any more explanations.

After their kiss, Melanie's tears started falling from her eyes. Albert and Melanie understood their hearts. They are now ready to forget the past and live the present as it is and together, face the future and the challenges that will be given their way.
