CHAPTER 5

Present Day...

Melanie finally graduated from college. She took up Culinary Arts and she is currently managing the family business with her mother, the Good Vibes Cafe. Mel's dad retired from his teaching career.

7 years have passed. All went well for Mel. But whenever she is alone, unknown to the people around her, she is still thinking of someone she will never forget. Someone she considered her first love. ALBERT.

Albert never forgot to send letters to Mel on their 1st year of separation. They skyped, e-mailed, called amd texted each other.

But something happened to Albert. He stopped calling her and texting her. Every communication between Albert and Melanie stopped.

It took Mel months to stop herself from crying. Months to stop convincing herself that Albert left her. And that the things Albert told her were lies.

Ana and Bella didn't leave her side even for once. They made sure Mel is ok and they helped her move on from her first heat break.

"Mel, what the heck are you doing?'" our food is burning!"

"Oh my gosh, sorry girls," Mel came back to her senses when Ana shook her from her thoughts. "I am just thinking of something."

"Don't tell us is it's Albert. I'll slap you bad, girl."

Mel just smiled and made another batch of fries for the girls. Ana and Bella are now interior designer and fashion designer who have their shops near Mel' sCafe.

They hang out together and chi-chat whenever they have time. They never forget to spend time together in spite of their busy schedules.

Albert woke up looking at a very unfamiliar room. He looked around him and noticed a hand wrapped around his waist.

"Holy s**t! Who the heck are you?!," Al yelled at the girl sleeping beside him.

He heard laughing around him and saw his friends Joshua and Jake lying on the floor laughing so hard. Al threw pillows at them and looked for his shirt.

"Did something happen between me and this girl?," Al immediately asked.

"How could anything happen when you don't even want to kiss me, Albert dear," the girl said. "Your friends over here just paid me a good deal of cash to sleep with you and wait for your reaction when you wake up."

"You guys are sick, sick!!!," Al yelled.

Albert ran out of the door and looked for his car. His thoughts went back to what happened the other night making sure nothing he did that night was wrong.
