MY LOVE, MY KISS, MY HEART (COMPLETED)

CHAPTER 2

Months has passed after Melanie's first day in her new school. She met new friends, Ana and Bella, who are cousins and are both members of the theatre club. Well, as for Albert, he still ignores her. But there are times when she can see him looking at her in the middle of class.

Melanie became popular in school. She tops her exams and got the 1st honour during the first quarter. Not all students are happy with Melanie's sudden fame and honours.

One day, in the middle of lunch, some girls tripped her. Her lunch spilled all over her uniform. Students laughed at her. Ana and Bella came to her and they ran out of the canteen to clean her up.

That same afternoon, someone vandalized her locker. Then a post there was said Melanie was a liar and a cheater and a fake.

Though the cousins never left her side all day, Melanie can't help but cry and be devastated with what is happening to her. She can't believe that her last year in grade school will be this tragic.

During PE, the class is assigned to form 2 teams. They are going to play ball toss. The game went on smoothly. Until Ana and Bella noticed that all eyes are on Melanie. Melanie started to cry and complain. The kids continued to thro balls at her. They are hitting her on purpose! They are yelling at the other kids to stop what they are doing to Melanie. No one seemed to listen to them.

"STOP!!!" someone finally yelled. Melanie is crying hard while the cousins tried to cover her from the kids. They too are hit badly. The girls saw Albert walk towards them holding a ball with him.

"What the heck are you all doing to Melanie? I have been observing you all day and all you do to her is make her day miserable. What did she do to you?," Albert asked. "Is it because she is famous? Is it because he tops our class? Is it because id more intelligent than you?"

The class were in silence. The teacher came without knowing what relay happened. Class was dismissed. Melanie and her friends left school.

Albert watched Melanie leave the auditorium and as she left school. He felt sorry for her. He told the boys to get the kids responsible for bullying Melanie.

He scolded them and yelled at them and warned them that they will face him if ever they try anything bad to Melanie again.

Albert became friendlier around Melanie. He started to smile more because of Melanie's funny antics. They became good friends together with the cousins. Melanie became more confident than ever. She ignored her bullies and continued on focusing on her classes.

"Al, why did you become friendly to us suddenly?" Melanie asked Albert one time during lunch.

Albert ignored her. Instead he stole a bite from her sandwich. He remembered the smell and taste of that same sandwich from Melanie's first day in that school.

"Hey! That's mine!," Melanie yelled.

"Now they are mine," Albert calmly said and smiled.

Melanie blushed with Albert's cute smile. Albert saw it and continued eating the sandwich. He is happy with her. And he likes being happy with her.

Albertknew that he feels something special for her. He knows they are young. But noone knows what the future holds for the both of them.
