Chapter Forty: This Summer Is Gonna Rock

A/N: Wow. Guys we've made it FORTY chapters! (Please read authors note at the end I REALLY need some advice)

The next day Riley and Maya were walking In to school, someone pulled Maya into the janitors closet.

"Lucas?" She asked after she saw him.

"Hey," he smiled.

"You nearly gave me a heat attack!" She said.

"Sorry," he laughed.

"Why'd you pull me In here anyway?"

"I just wanted to do this," he said before he leaned in and kissed her. She kissed him back. They kept kissing for a few minutes until they heard the bell. They walked to class hand in hand and sat In Their seats.

"Okay class today we will be learning about the..." Maya automatically zoned out. She was thinking about her and Lucas. She wasn't even listening to Mr. Matthews lesson. She daydreamed about what might come one day.

After class everyone hung out together like the good old days. Except for Kayla. She was out with Andrew. Lucas wasn't happy about that. He wanted to do something but she told him not to. So what could he do?

"I'm so glad we can all hang out again," Riley smiled big.

"Me too, Riles," Maya smiled back. They were at Topanga's. Riley was sitting by the window with Zay next to her. Lucas and Maya were sitting in those two chairs next to each other. And Farkle was sitting at the chair at the end of the table. Lucas and Maya's hands were intertwined and just sitting on the chair.

"It feels good to have the whole gang back together," Lucas added.

"Especially you," Maya winked. Lucas smiled and winked back at her.

"You guys are so cute," Riley smiled.

"Yeah. Stop it," Zay joked. Everyone laughed a little and continued to talk.

"So, summer is coming up. What's everyone doing?" Farkle asked.

"Well, me and my family are going away to Florida for the summer to visit family," Riley said.

"And I'm not allowed to go because MY MOM doesn't want me to be away for that long," Maya said, making sure Katy heard.

"I'm going back to Texas for the summer," Zay said.

"Why?" Lucas asked.

"My dad wants me home," Zay replied.

"Oh," is all Lucas replied with.

"Me and my family are going to Hawaii for the summer," Farkle said.

"Hop-along, you're not going anywhere right?" Maya asked Lucas, hopefully.

"Nope. I'm all yours,"

Maya smiled and replied, "good," and then she kissed his cheek.

After they all hung out, Maya decided to go over Lucas' house. So they walked to his house hand in hand.

When they got there, they went up to his room. They sat on his bed.
