Lucas: I have something to tell you
Kayla texted back a few minutes later.
Kayla: what? :)
Lucas: I got back together with Maya!
Kayla: that's great! :D
Lucas: that's my day. what have you been up to? Haha
Kayla: actually... You know that guy Andrew from school?
Lucas: yeah, why?
Kayla: HE ASKED ME OUT!
Lucas: that guy is bad news. I'd stay away from him if I were you.
Kayla: i think I can handle myself but thank you
Lucas: seriously, Kayla.
Kayla: I can handle myself.
Lucas: Kayla, come on
Kayla: seriously, Lucas. I can handle myself.
Lucas: fine. But just know I warned you.
Kayla: >:( whatever. I gotta go

The Next Day:

The next day Maya walked into school with Riley and immediately went to Lucas who was at his locker.
"Hey," Lucas smiled.
"Hey," Maya smiled back. Lucas noticed that she put he charm bracelet he got her back on. With the charm still on it. That made him smile even bigger.
Lucas grabbed her hand and walked over to their friends together.
"Nice to see you two actually talking again," Zay said. Lucas texted him and Farkle last night, giving them the big news.
"Or even looking at each other," Farkle added.
"Yeah. it is" Riley added.
Everyone agreed except for Kayla who just stayed silent. She walked away and went over to that guy Andrew who asked her out. Lucas saw and just frowned. He knew she shouldn't be getting caught up with guys like that. But he left it alone because she said she could handle it. Even though he REALLY didn't want to leave her alone.
They walked to class, Maya's hand intertwined with Lucas'. Maya sat In front of Lucas like usual. For the past six months she hasn't rested her elbow on his desk. But today she did. It was a good day.

Figured I'd update today. I was gonna wait until tomorrow but I thought today would be good since it's a weekend.
Last night I got to see my favorite band ever in concert! They were great! Don't know why I'm telling you this, but I am so here you go lol.
