The Next Day:

The next day Maya and Riley were sitting, once again, at the bay window.
"Did you have a good time with Zay last night?" Maya asked Riley.
"I did. He's really nice" Riley smiled.
"That's good." Maya smiled. "Would you go on another date?"
"Of course!" Riley replied.
"Just asking" Maya laughed.
It was December 8th and everybody was getting ready for christmas. Maya was happy that she would get to spend christmas with Lucas. She would be with the Matthews but her and Lucas would spend the beginning of the day together. Then Maya and her mom would go over the Matthews house and spend the rest of the day with them and their family.
I haven't seen Josh in a while, Maya thought. He's probably gonna be confused of why I'm not obsessing over him. Of course I'm still attracted to him, but nothing will change how I feel about Lucas. Not even Josh.
