"Amy? They dropped your clothes at the door" Steven said, carrying a box in "with a note saying they'd deliver your other things with your car later."
I looked up from my spot at the desk "Oh, huh." I said and took the box from Steven "Could I put the boxes in the corner until they bring my car over? I'll put it all in the back" I said, smiling.
"Are you sure?" Steven asked, relucantly handing me the box, raising an eyebrow.
Ever since the other day with Gabriel, Steven said I could stay with him. Stay, not live. So I expected that anyday now he could be asking me to leave, so I didn't plan on settling in.
"Yes" I said nodding "I'm sure." I brought the box over to the corner and went to get the rest, feeling Steven watching me. I put the last box in the corner and walked to Steven, wrapping my arms aroung him and smiling "So I was thinking, if you wanted to, we could go out and do something fun this weekend?" I said.
"Yeah, what do you wann do?" Steven asked me.
"Hmm.. I don't know yet, but I'll let you know if I do. I kinda want to get out of Boston, even if it's just for a day" I explained "Just after everything, I wanna get away and relax for a little"
Steven's face brightened and he smiled "I know just the place"
I tilted my head to the side "Where?"
Steven shook his head "Nah-uh, it's a surprise"
"Oh come on!" I laughed, jokingly stomping my foot "Not fair!"
"Sorry baby. You'll love it though, I promise" Steven said finaly.
"Fine." I said with a little pout. I leaned up to kiss him softly, and looked at him with a fake serious face "But if I don't, you owe me twenty buck" I said and tried not to laugh.
"Yeah, we'll see about that" Steven chuckled before stealing another kiss

Steven went out to go help Tom with something, and I sat on the couch with my laptop, playing The Sims 3.
"Oh what's wrong you fake human?" I said as I watched my sim be trapped in the swimming pool, surrounded by a wall I just built around it "Can't escape? Feell like you're going to drown? Well that's what you get for getting annoying after I spent a half hour creating your life!"
I know.
I heard a car pull up into the driveway and paused my game. Could Steven be back already? He just left. I stood up and walked to the window, pulling the curtain back and saw my car sitting idle by the garage. I dropped the curtain and walked out, heading to my car as the door opened and Elizabeth stepped out. She looked over and saw me, and smiled shyly, walking over with my keys swinging from her hand.
"Hey Amy..." She said and gave me my keys, rubbing the back of her neck "Uh, here, Lucas told me to drop your car off to you so..." She shrugged and broke eye contact, staring at the melting snow.
"Thanks, Lizzie" I said as I took them from her, pocketing them "Good to know things aren't awkward between us too" I added sarcastically.
Elizabeth glanced at me through her lashes "Look, I'm sorry, Amy. But I don't know to make of what you're doing! You gave up everything for some guy who is older than you by a lot!" Elizabeth said, finally looking at me straight on "Why?"
I sighed "Look, it was a weird couple of weeks for me before I met Steven. I met him and I fell in love with him. I couldn't help it. Did I want things to be how it is now? No, but there's nothing I can do now"
Elizabeth raised an eyebrow "You love him?"
"Yeah, why?" I asked
Before Elizabeth answered, Steven pulled up in his own car. He stepped out and walked over, seeming not to notice Elizabeth standing right there.
"Hey" I said, turning my attention to Steven and hugged him
"Hey, you got your car back" He sid and looked at Elizabeth "Oh, hey there. I'm Steven, you are..." Steven said, offering Elizabeth his hand.
Elizabeth looked at Steven and then his hand before glancing at me "Elizabeth" She said cooly and looked back at Steven "I'm actually leaving now. Bye" Elizabeth turned around and started walking off the lawn.
Steven gave me a puzzled look and I walked over to Elizabeth, grabbing her arm "Hey" I said, spinning her around "Look just.... don't be a stranger okay? Steven and I are going somewhere this weekend, but afterwards maybe you could come over and I'll show you nothings really changed. And you'll get to know Steven and not like an ass" I whispered, and softened a little "Please. You're my best friend, Lizzie, I don't want to lose that."
Elizabeth bit the inside of her cheek and sighed "Okay, maybe." She said before walking off again.
