"Rag doll, living in a movie" I sang as I tied my hair up into a messy bun "Rag doll, daddy's little cutie" I paused to look at the other side of the room, Steven standing there as he grabbed his bag. He looked at me with a puzzled expression.
"What?" He asked, a little humor in his voice.
"I don't know. I half expected you to burst in with the next line" I responded, giggling a little.
Steven smirked and shook his head "And interrupt your little show? No way!'
I rolled my eyes at him and laughed, blushing. I finished my hair and looked at my reflection. "What time do we have to go, anyway?" I asked as I turned to look at Steven, walking to him
"About half an hour" Steven said "We gotta get going, it's a long flight"
I frowned "Really?"
"Is it a problem?"
I shrugged "Not really. I just can't stand being cooped up anywhere for too long" I explained and grabbed my bag "But it's no big deal. Let's go"
______
Okay, so a few hours into the flight and I was ready to jump out.
Steven was sound asleep, which I don't blame him for, Joey and Brad were engrossed in some sort of conversation, I'm not sure where Joe disappeared to, and Tom was either sleeping or just quiet.
I twisted in my seat to look over at Tom, since he was right behind us. The bassist looked back at me and gave a small smile. "You're up"
I grinned back "Yeah, I'm not very tired" I said and laid my chin on the seat "How much longer until we land?"
"A few more hours" He said "Antsy?"
"Very. And poor Steven's exhausted" I frown, nodding at the singer, snoring softly. My frown turned to a smile pretty quickly. It was kind of cute.
"Sorry, the plane rides aren't the funnest part" Tom apologized.
I shrugged and reached into my purse, pulling my Kindle out "I have Life on here, wanna play with me?" I asked in almost a child like manner.
Tom laughed a little and took the Kindle "Sure. Joey, Brad, come play with us!" Tom said as he showed them the Kindle.
Joey and Brad climbed a few seats over by us, and Tom opened the app and we set up to play. At some point, Joe wandered over and watched us crowd over the electronic.
"Hah, I got married before you guys!" I said as the animation put a blue peg in the car.
"You know, we've all actually gotten married before you" Brad pointed out.
"To be fair, I wan't born yet" I smirked
"Ah, yeah" Joe said, and pointed to Brad and Joey "But they both got remarried"
I blinked and shrugged "True, but I was too young to"
"Not that young" Joey said
"Yes, but I had no plans at getting married when I was 22" I told him "I just got engaged"
"So you did have plans" Brad corrected and tapped the screen to spin the wheel
"Just not then" Tom added
"True."
"What the hell are you guys talking about?"
I turned and smiled at Steven, who was rubbing his eyes "Oh, hey babe. Did we wake you? Sorry" I said, giving him a little kiss "I got bored, so Tom, Brad, Joey and I started playing The Game of Life"
"Life isn't a game, Amelia" Steven said in a fake lecturing tone
I rolled my eyes playfully "Don't call me Amelia, only my parent's do."
"It's your turn, Amelia" The other guys said in unsion.
I laughed "I hate you all"
"Even me?" Steven asked
"Yes. Sorta. I love you though, so it balances it all out" I said as the wheel spun.
"I love you too"
______
I sat backstage as Cheap Trick came off, and they were setting the stage for the guys. I'll admit, I might not be a Cheap Trick fan. I didn't recognize a single song, except for maybe three. But the Cheap Trick guys were pretty nice though, so I didn't mind. Steven and the others were getting ready for the show, and I got pushed out of the dressing room by some others. I sighed and held on to my soda, watching the stage being set up, and the fans waiting excitment. I spotted the wives, Billie Perry, Linda Kramer, Terry Hamilton and Kimberly Whitford, at the other side of the room, talking away. I bit my lip, wondering if I should join them or not. Billie noticed me and waved, and I gave a half hearted one back. I didn't feel really comfortable. After all, I was only Steven's girlfriend, and for not very long.
I walked away from the group and wandered around for a few minutes before talking to a roadie before the show started.
"This is your first time seeing them live?" The roadie asked, tilting his head
"Well, yeah" I admited sheepishly.
"Hurry up and go see them. You're gonna get you breath taken away" He joked, winking.
I laughed a little and left, waving goodbye before going towards the stage. I peaked out As Steven came up from under, and the show started.
It. Was. Amazing.
The show was just full of energy, it was tangeble! I heard some laughter from behind me, probably the wives and others watching me as I acted like one of the girls in the crowd, screaming like crazy. I looked like a fool, but I didn't care. I couldn't keep my eyes off of Steven either, watching him run around on stage. He had more energy then me.
Once the show ended, I pretty much knocked him down "OhmyGodthatwasamazingohmyfuckingGodwowwowwow" I said quickly as Steven straightened up and picked me up
"Are you okay?" He laughed and I clung to him
"YesI'mfineI'mgreatyou'regreatallofyouaregreat" I sped again when someone stuck a straw in my mouth. I sipped, water filling up my mouth and drank it, calming down a little
"Better?" I heard a woman say, and peeked at Billie and Terry laughing a little.
"Better, thanks"
______
I jumped up and down a little on the bed, still energetic.
Steven walked in and laughed at me "How old are you again?"
I stuck my tongue at him as he got on the bed. I jumped on top of him, laughing as he 'oofed'. I smiled and kissed him hard. I kissed his face took, quickly and all over "What do you want to do now?"
"I can think of a few things" Steven said, kissing me again.
