The next few months went by like a whirlwind, and soon enough it was the beginning of April, and Steven was leaving soon to go to Australia with the rest of Aerosmith for the next part of their tour. Things have gotten better with Lizzie and I, and she was usually with me now. She also warmed up to Steven and now and then the two had amusing banter. This night we were sitting in the living room of Steven's house watching our soon to be obsession, Orphan Black.

"I like Paul" Elizabeth said as she ate a piece of popcorn.

"Really?" I asked as I turned to her "I dunno, there's something about that guy, I don't like it" I continued.

Elizabeth just shrugged and looked past my shoulder as Steven came downstairs. "Hey Tyler, wanna watch with us?"

"Love to, but I can't. The kids are flying in and I have to pick them up" Steven replied as he walked to the door.

I jumped and looked at him, wide eyed "Your kids are coming?" I repeated

"Yeah, they'll be here for a few days" Steven said, getting his keys.

I blinked a few times. I wasn't sure what his kids knew about me, or even if they did know about me. I was a little worried "I.. Do I go until they leave? Because I can sleep at Lizzie's if you want" I mumbled.

"What? No, why would you go? They want to me you anyway" Steven said, looking puzzled before checking the time "Look, I gotta go" He said and pointed at Elizabeth, who was eating another piece of popcorn "Stop eating my food"

"You're not my father!" Elizabeth retorted in a dramatic matter.

"And I'm thankful" Steven shot back, smirking.

Elizabeth gasped "Just for that, I'm eating the uh-oh oreos I saw in the kitchen earlier" She said, smiling and getting off the couch.

"Wait, uh-oh oreos?" I said jumping up "Why didn't you tell me?" I followed my friend into the kitchen, Steven's laugh going with him out the door.

I stood next to Elizabeth as she pulled the package of cookies out. She glanced at me as she pulled it open "So what's wrong? You scared or something about meeting the little Tylers?"

"They're not little" I responded "They're all adults and, as you know, half of them are older then me. One is my age practically. They didn't like Erin, what's to say they'd like me?"

Elizabeth rolled her eyes and pulled two glassed from the cabniet "I don't think them not liking her had to do with age... okay, it probably did, but I heard that she wasn't nice to them" She reasoned and turned to face me "They'll love you. And if they don't..." Elizabeth trailed off and reached into the cabniet and pulled out a pan, hitting it against her hand a few time "...I'll take care of them" She said, smiling.

I laughed and took the pan away "Calm down hun" I said and put it away "You're right, it'll be fine" I agreed, shrugging a shoulder

"I'll come get you if you're not" Elizabeth told be as she got milk and poured two glasses "Come on. Orphan Black is waiting for us" She sang as she left with the milk.

I rolled my eyes and grabbed the cookies, joining her.

"Amy?" Steven's voice called out sometime later. I stretched, waking up from the nap I didn't know I was taking and poked Elizabeth awake, who sat up.

I stood up, fixing my hair as I faced Steven and his kids. And a little boy who I guess was supposed to be his grandson. I smiled nervously at the group and gave a little wave "Hi there, I'm Amy" I said, sticking my hand out for someone to shake.

"Hi Amy, I'm Chelsea" one of the girls haid, shaking my hand and smiling. I did a double take. Oh yeah, she was Steven's daughter alright.

"Liv, and this is my son, Milo" another girl said, taking my hand as soon as Chelsea let go.

"Mia" The last one, nearly stealing my hand away.

"Hey, I'm Taj" The boy said, opting for a wave.

Elizabeth had gotten her jacket on by now and was making her way to the door when she was met by a few curious eyes. She looked back at them before me, and I laughed "That's my friend, Elizabeth, she's gotta go, right Lizzie?" I said, giving her an escape.

"Are you sure?" Liv interjected "We're going out for dinner, you can come too"

"Oh.." Elizabeth whispered "No, really, but thank you." She said before rushing out the door.

I cleared my throat and smiled again "So uh, where are we going?"

______

After dinner, Liv and Milo went up to sleep, exhausted from jet lagged, Chelsea and Mia were in the living room watching TV, and Taj had gone upstairs and stayed in his room. I drank a late night cappachino in the kitchen as I watched the two sisters. The kids seemed to be betwixt and between about me, and it made me a little nervous. I felt a pair a strong hands land on my shoulders and I nearly spilled my coffee.

"Steven!" I hissed as I put the mug down.

Steven chuckled "Sorry baby" He said as he sat next to me "Are you alright?"

"Yeah.." I said as I ran my finger around the rim of the mug "Dinner went well, right?" I said, looking at Steven.

"Dinner went great" Steven confirmed and scooted his chair closer, wrapping an arm around me and brought me closer to him "They're hesitant about you, but they seem to be warming up. Don't worry."

"Alright" I sighed and shrugged "I just want them to like me, you know?"

"I know babe. But don't worry, even if they don't like you for some reason, I still love you" Steven said, grinning.

I smiled back at him "I'm glad to hear that" I replied, leaning my head against his shoulder, and closed my eyes a little "How long are they here for again.

"Actually tomorrow afternoon, apparently things came up for Taj and Mia and Liv and Chelsea are going with them"

"I'm even more glad to hear that, this is making me so nervous I thought I was gonna puke before" I admitted with a small smile.

Steven laughed a bit "Well you can relax, everything will be fine.

I nodded, believing him.
