I went to the game that night like nothing was wrong.  I didn't plan on telling Kevin that I was pregnant, and I sure as heck didn't want to think about telling my dad.  I had only been here for two months and I was already pregnant.  He would never forgive me.

"Hey, Katie,"  I heard Damion say from behind me.

"Hey, can we not talk right now?"  I asked turning around to see Kevin standing right behind him.

"Katie, can we talk then?"  He asked.

"No... I can't deal with this right now.  I have to go out there and cheer,"  I said turning around to go out to the track.

"I know your secret,"  Damion said and I whipped around to face him.  Did he know the secret?  Or did he think he knew,  "I suggest you tell him before I do."

"Don't you have a game to play?"

"Yes, but it doesn't mean that I can't tell him afterward.  I will go and explain to Sophia," and he was gone.

"What is going on?"  He asked.

"I don't know what he knows, but I didn't tell him anything.  Once I left your house I went straight home."

"Then what is it that you should tell me because it sounds pretty serious."

"Kevin don't get mad, please..."  I said not wanting to tell him at all.

"I couldn't get mad at you.  Just tell me, please."

"I'm pregnant.  I wasn't going to tell,"  I said tears coming to my eyes.

"Why are you crying?  Why wouldn't you tell me?"  He asked coming to hug me.

"I was going to, but then you slept with her,"  I said tears falling down my face now.

"I'm sorry... I can make it up to you, just let me try, please."

"No... I can't trust you anymore."

"Please, don't let be out of my own child's life.  One more chance,"  He said getting one his knees hugging my stomach.

"Kevin..." I said not trusting myself to not take him back.

"I was wrong, and I love you so much.  Don't make the same mistake that I made with you.  I know that it will take some time, but I know that I can make you trust me again.  I will do anything."

"Kevin, can we talk after the game?  I just need some time to think."

"Yes, but you have to promise to talk to me."

"I promise,"  I said walking back to the group.

I put on the fake smile that I was so used to putting on and cheered my butt off while Kevin sat on the first row.  At halftime, we were up 42 to 14.  I looked up to see that Kevin had left.  Maybe he decided that he didn't need to talk.

"Can I have everyone's attention?"  I heard is voice come over the loud speakers.

I couldn't help but gasp and sit on the ground.

"I didn't something really stupid to a wonderful girl named Katie and I really wanted to say that I was wrong and that I wish she would forgive me."

Everyone automatically turned to me.  I mean our town is so small everyone knew everyone.

"So?"  Kevin asked.  Lyndsy looked right at me.  She had a told you so look in her eyes.  Damion came to stand behind me and took my hand.

"Just forgive him.  I know he is sincere. He came to me and cried his heart out," Damion said and smiled at me.

"Yes, I'll forgive you!"  I yelled holding on to my stomach.

I turned to Damion and asked, "How did you know?"

"I know you, Katie.  I love you and will always do what is right by you.  If you need anything ever I will not hesitate to help you, but you need to have him back in your life.  That is the father of your baby."  He turned to Kevin as he walked down, "If you ever hurt her like that again I will not be so kind to you.  Do you understand?"

I didn't believe that he just knew that I was pregnant.  There was something more to Damion.

"Yes.  Thank you."

He grabbed my hand and I pulled it away.  I still didn't want to talk to him.  Things would never be the same again.

He bent down and whispered in my ear, I love you and left.

I stood there alone caught between untouched love and the father of my unborn child.
