Kevin's POV

I heard her talking to her dad downstairs.  He told her if I got her pregnant again he wasn't going to be as nice as last time.  Heck if Damion would have been half a man then he would have allowed her to tell him herself.

I couldn't get the way he looked at her.  I knew what he was and I also knew what she was, and I had no problem with that.  I mean we are the same thing.  I loved her because of that.  I couldn't believe that a vampire could even fall in love.  I knew that she loved him, though.  I could tell by the way that she looked at him.  I didn't want to think about that, though.

I heard her running up the stairs and she opened up the door.

"Kevin!"  She yelled and jumped into my lap.

"Don't act like you like me now,"  I said kissing her forehead.

"What is that supposed to mean?"  She asked pulling back to look at me.  I could tell I hurt her by the look in her eyes.

"I see the way you look at Damion,"  I said sitting her on her own side of the bed.

I was mad at myself for even bringing it up.  I saw how much it hurt her, but if we were ever going to move on I needed to know if she loved him.

"Kevin, look at me.  I don't love him.  I love you.  If I liked him then I would have texted him to come over here, but I texted you instead.  I mean I'm breaking rules for you,"  she said playing with her hands.

"Sorry, I just don't want to have to compete with him for your love.  Because I know he would win."

"Do you love her?"  I knew who the her was that Katie meant.  I was astonished that she would even ask.

"No... I haven't talked to her in three months.  You're all I can think about,"  I said taking her hand in mine.  I pulled her face up to mine and kissed her.  She sat there for a while.  I started to regret my decision until she sat on my lap and kissed me again.

"Kevin, I love you so much.  I want to make you mine again.  Please."

"Katie, are you sure you wanna do this?"  I asked looking down at her.  Her eyes were so beautiful right now.  Her lips were sculpted out by angel's wings.

"Yes.  Lay back and let me make you mine again."

I did as I was told and she unzipped my pants.  My breathing started to pick up as she pulled my pants down around my ankles.  I looked down and she was breathe taking.  She took me in her mouth and I couldn't help, but moan her name.  Katie was all I got out before she gave the most pleasure I had ever had in my life.

...

I woke up the next morning next the most beautiful girl in the world.

"This is how I wanna wake up every morning," I said kissing her cheek.

"Me too.  We have to get to school though and I don't wanna be here when my dad gets home so let's go,"  She said kissing my lips.

"Okay.  Can you drive me over to my house so I can get changed?"  I asked.  I walked over last night and I didn't bring clothes.  I didn't plan on staying either.

"Yes, my love.  Let's get you home."

We drove to my house and I got in the shower and got dressed.  Then we took off to the school.

We walked in and everyone looked at us.  I hugged her close to me as I saw Damion walking towards us.  "Wow, decided to let the cheater back in?"  He said to her as he walked by holding Lyndsy.  I guess she was just everyone's go-to girl.

"Yeah, I love him.  That's more than I can say for you."

"Really?  I did love you, but you never gave me the time of day," I felt Katie stop at his words.

"You loved me?"  she asked as she turned around.

"Yes!  Of course, I wouldn't have helped you out so much if I didn't.  You already knew that I did."

"Then why did you help me get back with Kevin?"  She asked letting go of my hand.  I knew it was over so I walked away.  I felt her eyes on me, but she didn't move towards either one of us.  I knew that she loved us both, but I was going to make her decision even easier.

I walked back up to her and said, "Damion's dad killed your family.  Everyone but your dad.  He got away."  I felt her tense up.

"What did you tell her?"  Damion asked me.

"Just what you should have told her a long time ago,"  I said as I walked away.  I felt Katie move next to me as she took my hand again.

"How did you know?"  She asked as we walked to her last class of the day.

"Sweetheart, there are a lot of things about him and his family that you don't know,"  I said as I walked into the classroom.  Damion was in there too and we sat down.

"I can't believe that you would tell her that.  It was so long ago," Damion said as we sat down.

"You know what, she deserved to know what you were capable of."

"Yeah, whatever.  You just wanted to make her love you,"  he said looking at Katie.

"I don't care, Damion.  I don't love you.  And him telling me that, didn't help you any.  I knew that you could hurt people.  You lied to me,"  She said.

"I'm sorry."

...

I got done getting ready for graduation and left for the school.  I was so ready to be done with school, so I never had to worry about it again.  I could stay in bed with Katie as long as we wanted and I wouldn't have to worry about school breaking us up over and over again.

"Hey, sweet cheeks,"  I heard her say as she walked up behind me.

"You heard me thinking about you didn't you?" I asked.  I knew she got some of her powers.  That was one of her least favorites.  She hated hearing what everyone thought about her.  I have to admit it really limited down who you hung out with.

"Yeah, but I loved what you were thinking,"  She said kissing my cheeks. Damion had left a couple of days ago; right after I told Katie about his dad.  I could tell she was sad about him leaving, just by what she was thinking about.

"You miss him?"  I asked kissing her cheek.

"Not the way you think."

"I know.  I can tell by the way you feel in my arms today."

"Yeah.  I don't like how you automatically know how I feel at the moment."

"I know.  I just want make you feel better."

"Kevin, no more thinking that."

"Okay, okay,"  I said putting my hands up in surrender.

"I love you, Kevin Hayes."

"I love you more, Katie Tompson,"  I said wrapping her in a hug.  "Ready to graduate?"

"Yes.  More ready than you'll ever know."
