Chapter 6: Misguided Ghosts PT2

Previously in House of Gold..

   I looked up to see what shocked me..

Everyone was sitting on the grass, smiling, talking, drink beer. 

Then there's Gerard.. 

He was standing under a tree with little light bulbs and white balloons. His brother, Mikey, had his bass and was sitting under the tree as Gerard stood leaning against it. His cousin Matt was also sitting next to Mikey with a mini drum. 

I heard Mikey giggling as he saw me, which caused everyone to see me and gasp. Frank groaned.

I walk pass everyone to get to Gee. His hair was gelled back and was wearing a black suit with a red tie. He had red raccoon eyes too that made him look adorable. He stared at me with awe and handed me a mic.

"What song m'lady?"

"Misguided Ghosts by Paramore?" I reply. He smiles.

"Mikey, do you know Moose Ghost?" Gerard asks his brother, earning a nod.

"Moose Ghost?" I question.

"Mikey calls it that." He giggles and brings his attention to the crowd. He wolf whistles to get their attention.

"This christmas we will be performing Misguided Ghosts by Paramore.. Enjoy? I don't know." He giggles and stands next to me. Mikey starts strumming as Matt joins in.

"I'm going away for a while
But I'll be back
Don't try and follow me
'Cause I'll return as soon as possible
See, I'm trying to find my place
But it might not be here where I feel safe" Gerard starts. I smile as he throws our mics away and grabs my hands, forcing me to dance with him.

"We all learn to make mistakes
And run from them, from them
With no direction
We'll run from them, from them
With no conviction" I sing. I hear the crowd awe.

"'Cause I'm just one of those ghosts
Travelin' endlessly
Don't need no roads
In fact, they follow me
And we just go in circles

And now I'm told that this is life
That pain is just a simple compromise
So we can get what we want out of it " We sing together. 

We didn't look at the crowd. Our gaze was fixed on each other as we danced slowly. My arms were wrapped around his neck as his arms were around my waist. His smile was adorable.

"Would someone care to classify?
Our broken hearts and twisted minds
So I can find someone to rely on
And run to them, to them" Gerard sings softly.

"Full speed ahead
Oh, you are not useless
We are just.." I continue for him with a grin.

"Misguided ghosts
Travelin' endlessly
The ones we trusted the most
Pushed us far away
And there's no one road
We should not be the same
But I'm just a ghost
And still they echo me
They echo me in circles" We sing together as he twirls me around. 

Everyone claps except Frank (Of course). We smile and I give him a huge hug which earned us a awe again. I didn't care. He leans down and pecks my nose before bringing me down under the tree. 

We sat down and he layed his head on my lap. Mikey curled up to my side and wrapped his little arms around my waist. I giggle at the Way brothers for using me as a pillow. Frank walked passed and growled.

We stay liked that for ages until my grandama came over.

"Honey, you look tired. Do you wanna stay here for the night?" She asked. I nod and she goes to talk to Donna. I saw Donna smile and nod.

"Okay, we're going home now, goodnight sweet." My grandma says and drags Frank with her. I sleepily wave to her as Donna comes over.

"C'mon, you 3 can sleep in Gerard's room tonight." She says as she picks up Mikey. I help the sleepy Gerard up and we all walk inside their house. 

When we get in his room, Donna places Mikey in the bed and walks out. I kick off my shoes and crawl into the bed with Gerard. Mikey is sleeping at the bottom of the bed, whilst Gerard and I are sleeping at the top. Gerard ends up spooning me and hums a tune.

"Goodnight Gee bear." I whisper.

"Goodnight Hazel nut." He replys.

I start to fall asleep and as I do so, I hear Gerard whisper something that makes my heart drop and shatter.

"I love you so much."
