I hate this idea. I don't need a tutor because it's the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard. Especially being tutored by a rich kid.
Through out my school year, and I've been to a lot, this is the only school that I despise the most. There are cliques, there is drama, it's like High School Musical but no music...and it's two times worse than that.
I left the office in a pissy mood with Jonah and his parents behind. I hear them talking and saying my name but I'm not going to bother listening. They must be saying "oh be careful, she looks like a bad girl." Or some crap like that.
There's nothing more that pisses me off than people being fake and judgmental. I know I may have been judgmental about Jonah's parents but I don't care at the moment. All I care about is leaving and not being spotted by my tutor.
"Hey Kee!" Too late. I stopped in my tracks and turned to him. I gave him a look to continue talking.
"So I'm your tutor now and your classmate! The principal had your classes switched to mine. Since we're the same grade you need to be in the classes I am right now so that way you can graduate on time."
Could this get any worse.
"So you start classes with me today." It just did. I didn't bother to say anything because I knew there's nothing I can do but try to learn and get this done with.
What I don't get is he seems to be a nice guy. But then again, you can never judge a book by its cover. I followed him to Pre-Cal. I get that we're juniors and need to graduate on time but I feel like the school doesn't want me to do that.
How can they expect me to learn pre-cal by the end of first semester if I couldn't even learn Pythagorean theorems. I'm kidding, I know that but I'm just trying to prove a point. For some students it takes time until they can get it but no they expect us to learn it within a week or two.
"You're not expelled?" The teacher said to Jonah. Yep, I knew I thought wrong.
"No Ms. X, I'm actually going to be a tutor for Kee here. She'll be joining me in all of my classes."
Ms. X looked at me with a pitiful look. Is he that bad?
.....
After two classes with Jonah it's been pure hell. He's the worst! Now I get why the past two teachers gave me a pitiful look.
All he did during class was pester me and he kept asking me if I get the work every five minutes, literally five minutes. Like dude, give me some time to at least work the problem!
I swear, it's taking all my strength to not yell at him, or at least hit him. Cause I've about had it with him.
Our next class is music. This I got. The only class that never changed for me and I'm thankful for it. Now what shocked me is that Jonah is taking it too.
"Hello Kee. Jonah." Ms. Smith said. Yeah I know hers' and the principals' last name is the same but they're not married.
Jonah looked at me with a puzzled look, he must've figured I take this class as well. "So you like music. Who knew,"
"I know. The teacher knows. The whole school knows actually,"
"How is it the whole school?"
"If you've ever gone to a talent show then maybe you'd know." I went to my sit which is in the front and Jonah went to his seat which was across from me. The chairs are arranged as a C so that way all of us are facing the teacher.
"Today we will learn how to play the guitar as one of our units. For those that don't have a guitar you should be thankful the school has some."
I've been waiting for this unit for so long! I love music, I listen to it all the time. The only genres I don't like is rock and indie. Yeah there are a few songs I like from there but I don't like most of it.
