Tori was currently in my house asking about the torn up paper and I led her to the desk that I left it on. She looked at it and started to get teary eyed. When she first showed up at my door I actually noticed her eyes were already red from crying so I wonder what happened.
"You can take it since it is for you,"
"Thank you...Kee,"
"Yeah no problem," It was awkward now because she and I have never spoken to each other and then Thomas was in my room with Ollie so there was no one else I could talk to. "Do you want something to drink?"
"Water please," I got her a cup of water and she thanked me, she took a seat on the couch and drank. I wanted to ask her why she was crying earlier but I felt that I was in no position to ask anything...but knowing me I did anyways.
"So I noticed that your eyes were red...have you been crying? You don't have to tell me if you don't want to,"
"No its okay...plus I don't think I have anyone I can talk to about this so if you don't mind...?" I understood that she wanted to tell me everything, basically let me be her diary; lend her an ear, etc. "Yeah I don't mind, go ahead and tell me."
"Well I was crying earlier because Jonah was beating up Caleb and –"
"Wait what? Jonah fought with Caleb? Why?"
"I don't know why either but Jonah knows I like Caleb...it broke my heart and then I left. Then I remembered the torn up letter and came back to this area to see you and the dog,"
"Oh okay...well what else are you feeling? How are you coping with the loss of Louis?"
"Honestly not too well, he was a good friend even though I never showed it. He didn't deserve to die and honestly Charlie doesn't deserve to be accused of anything. But me, who worries about reputation, I ignored him...I'm such a horrible friend!" Then she began to cry again, I honestly haven't been in a situation like this so I don't know how I'm supposed to help her. I just got a box of tissues and gave it to her.
"This is why I hate those cliques and groups and stuff. They don't help anybody at all."
"So is that why you're such an outcast?"
"Yeah because I don't want to be in a group, I'd rather be myself than conform to what you others do...no offense or anything but it's just my choice and opinion,"
"It's okay...but thank you for listening to me Kee...I guess I'll see you around school,"
"Yeah I guess, well goodbye now," I lead her out and then closed the door...that was the most uncomfortable yet I was cool with it situation. Thomas came out of the room and looked at me, "So how did it feel to have a deep conversation with a girl?"
"Shut up," I rolled my eyes and opened the fridge to see what I can make for dinner only to realize all of my food was gone. I turned around to look at Thomas... "Did you eat all of the food?"
"Sorry I got hungry," He shyly said. "Dude that was supposed to last a week! If this happens again I'm kicking you out of my house even if you're not completely healed,"
"Oh come on Kee we both know you won't do that...I'm kidding you would. Okay it won't happen again I promise!"
"Thought so, I'm going to the grocery store so do you want to come?"
"Sure!" Luckily Thomas's injury was getting better. We walked because the grocery store was really close to my place and luckily the weather was good. "So tell me who that girl was?"
