Chapter 10

Happy Boxing Day if u celebrate Xmas! I might try updating at least once a day cause I have a lot of time till like the 3rd of Jan. I can't promise that I'll manage to do this but I might :)

"Zara!! Joe's here!" Zoe called up the stairs just as I ran down them.

"Coming!" I replied as Zoe opened the door.

Joe Sugg was standing in the doorway, looking tired. This was so cool and strange getting to meet the people I've looked up to for years.

"Hello!" Joe said, happily.

"Hi!" I said, returning the smile he gave me.

"Let's have a proper introduction. Joe, as you know, this is Zara! My adopted daughter!" Zoe said, " and Zara, this is Joe, my brother."

"Nice to meet you!" I said.

"You too!" Joe replied.

"Wait, why are we standing in recent hall way? Let's go into the lounge." Zoe said.

I went and sat down on one of the comfy sofas and Joe sat down next to me while Zoe called Alfie.

" It's so cool seeing you all not on a screen!" I said, laughing.

"Yeah, on the bright side of that is that you don't see Zoe in her grumpy moods after the camera goes off!" Joe joked, but pretending to act serious.

"I'm not moody off camera!" Zoe fake whined, while I burst out laughing. I liked Joe already.

"So when did you adopt Zara?" Joe asked.

"A few days ago. She seems to have settled in great, right, Zara?"

"Yeah! Thank you so much for adopting me! You didn't have to!" I said.

"Agreed, they could've just left you and never adopted you." Joe joked while I took his hat and put it on my head, jokingly.

"I was only joking!" Joe said, grabbing his hat and putting it back on his head, ruffling my hair. We all laughed.

Just then, Alfie appeared and say down after saying hi to Joe.

JOE'S POV ( A/N - it's probably gonna be usually just Zara's but why not add Joe's?)

I really liked little 11 year old Zara. Funny, kind and so much more. I was so happy to be her uncle.

We all stayed talking for a while, feeling so connected as a family, and then went out for an Italian out in Brighton. It was actually really nice. Zara said she usually had Chicken Korma but she went for a really spicy one this time. She ended up drinking about 2 big glasses at the least I think! She was so like me. She is only like 13 years younger than me, too, so we'll get on great.

"Joe, are you staying the night?" Zara asked as I edited my video on the sofa.

"Yeah. Is that good or bad?" I said, pulling a fake worried face.

She laughed and then said, "Good! Or maybe... bad?" She joked.

"I'm so hurt!" I said, pretending to faint. I must've looked so strange.

"Just kidding! I'm so happy you're staying!" She said.

"Great!" I said.

"Tea's ready! Zoe called from the kitchen.

Great! Wrote that all in one today and it's only 8:52. I'll probably update again today.
