Message from Louise

"Wake up, wake up!" I cried, bursting into Zoe's room. I knew she wouldn't be up and would want to stay in bed the whole day.

It was the next day and I was determined to change things.

"Ugh.." Zoe moaned as I drew the blinds.

"Come on, it's already 8:45! We're gonna have a great day today!" I said, excitedly.

"I wanna stay in bed, Zara. Please!"

"No, Zoe. Come on! I've already prepared breakfast!" I said.

Downstairs I had prepared pea cakes with a choice of either raspberrys, treacle, lemon or sugar.

"See, it's nice, isn't it?" I said as we ate out pancakes.

"Yeah..." She said. Normally she would really appreciate this but as she's recovering and is sad, it's understandable.

"So! Today I have some plans." I said.

"Ok.."

"We are going to go and ride our bikes at the parks!"

I thought that fresh air would do us good. I knew Zoe liked bike riding too, so that'll hopefully be good.

"But I might fall off!" She gasped.

"It's ok, you won't. I'll be there." I reassured her.

"Ok..." She said, uncertainly.

I got our bikes out of the garage, got some picnic things and set off. I went behind Zoe, in case anything happened to her behind me.

"Which way?!" She cried, skidding.

"You're doing a great job! Turn right!" I called ahead.

She turned right and the park was in view.

"Yay! I can see the park!" I said, happily. We parked our bikes and locked them and started walking around the park.

Birds tweeted above our heads. I held Zoe's hand as we walked. I wasn't sure where to but maybe to find a nice spot to sit down and make a base.

U looked over at Zoe. She looked so sad.

"Hey, cheer up, crocodile." I said, laughing.

She attempted a grin but failed.

"Hey! I know! Let's go on the swings!" I said.

"Ok..."

We went over to the apparatus in the distance and went on the swings. I pushed Zoe first. She actually generally smiled! That's new.

"Oh my gosh! Zoella and ZaraRose?!"

Great. Just when I got Zke happy a viewer comes. Don't et me wrong, I love the viewers, but this was not the time.

"Hey." I said, politely.

"Can I please have s picture?" The girl asked.

"Sure."

We took a picture. I hoped she would leave now. Zoe looked panicky.

"So why hasn't Zoe uploaded?" She the girl questioned. " and where's Alfie? Is it true that Zoe prefers you to him?"

How rude! Zoe looked even more panicked. I hadn't told the viewers yet. I had only uploaded normal videos.

"Come on, Zoe - let's go back to that tree we saw before." I said, leading her away.

Zoe looked like she was about to cry. Ugh! That annoying girl! Why did she have to interfere?!

"Shall we have our picnic over here?" I asked.

"Ok." That was all she was saying today, really. It's ok thigh. I understand she won't want to talk.

We ate our picnic and went home.

"There we are!" I said as we got home.

"Ahem!"

Louise was outside the door, hands on hips.

"I told you I was coming!" She scolded.

"I'm so sorry, Louise! I totally forgot!" I cried.

"Don't worry, it's ok. Shall I make us some tea?" She suggested.

"Sure." I said, opening the door with my house key.

We went inside. Louise boiled the kettle as Zoe and I sat down at the table.

"There!" Louise said.

"Thanks," Zoe mumbled.

"So what have you two been up to today?" Louise asked.

"We rode our bikes down to the park and had a picnic." I said.

"Cool!" Louise said.

We chatted a bit more and then Zoe had to nip to the bathroom. Louise pulled me aside.

"Zara, I need to tell you something."

"What?" I asked, alarmed.
