The next morning I got up and went downstairs to get some breakfast. It was 8:30.

"Morning Zara." Zoe said, trundling into the room with her pyjamas on.

"Morning Zoe." I replied.

To be honest, I am quite scared of telling her. I don't know what she'll do... I think I'll tell her around 11 so she's fully awake.

I switched on the tv and it was on a celebrity gossip program. I was about to switch it over to a news breakfast program when something stopped me.

"Now it's over to our next celeb news. PointlessBlog and SprinkleOfGlitter have been spotted together, holding hands! This surely means they're together! But what about Zalfie?! Louise, SprinkleOfGlitter, is her Bff! What is going on guys?"

I gasped and accidentally knocked over my cereal.

I spun around, turning the Tv off. Zoe was standing there, tears forming in her eyes.

"W-why?!" She whispered.

I ran up to her and hugged her.

"Oh Zoe!"

She sobbed harder, stroking my head.

"Zoe I need to tell you something..." I admitted.

"What is it, Zara?" Zoe asked.

I paused, biting my lip. This was it. It was going to hurt her more but I had to tell her.

"Yesterday when Louise visited, she said to me that Alfie wants you back..."

Anger grew in Zoe's eyes just like it had in mine when Louise told me.

"AND THEN HE GOES AND GOES OUT WITH MY "BEST FRIEND" AFTER SAYING THAT! HOW CAN HE EXPECT US TO ALLOW HIM ANYWAY?!" She yelled, breaking down.

"Shh, shh. It's gonna be ok. I'm here. It's ok, Zoe." I whispered.

Oh no. Zoe is shaking. Her breathing pattern is changing. She's having a panic attack.

"Zoe, it's ok. Everything will be ok." I said, calmly, running her back. I ran to her her some water, which she accepted, taking a sip.

She tried to say thank you but I stopped her.

"If it doesn't help to talk then don't." I stated.

She nodded and took another sip.

After she'd calmed down, I took he glass away and washed it.

"There. It's all gonna be ok." I stated.

"Thank you so much for everything. You never deserved any of the pain you've had in your life. I'm so sorry." Zoe said.

"No, no, it's ok. It's not your fault anyway. It was nobody's." I replied.

It's true. It wasn't anyone's fault my parents were hit by that bus. It's what happened. Apparently the bus skidded because of a branch and hit them. It wasn't anyone's fault I didn't have any other relatives.

We sat there for about 5 minutes, thinking.

I had an idea.

"Zoe, we need a break. Pack your suitcase, I have a plan." I stated, getting up.

She didn't question why. "Ok... Are you sure that your plan is a good idea?"

"Positive."
