Chapter 6)

"Welcome to your new home, Zara!" Zoe called as she opened the front door after experiencing the journey to Brighton.

"Wow... " I said

The walls were pretty yellows or oranges or light blues or light purples. There were delicious scented candles everywhere! The hall way was spacious and lit up. Zoe and Alfie led me into the kitchen, which was so clean and neat and tidy. They then showed my the living room, which had three comfy looking sofas and a big apple T.V. They also showed me to the white bathrooms and the other downstairs rooms. They showed me upstairs into their room, the spare rooms, any other rooms and then finally, my room.

It had gorgeous lilac curtains hanging from the vast window. The room was so spacious. I even had my own TV in there! In the corner, there was a VERY comfy looking bed, a white duvet and pillow. I was amazed.

"Oh my goodness, this place looks amazing! Thank you so much!"

" No probs, little one!" Alfie said, patting me on the head.

"What do you say, pizza take away and TV?" Zoe said as we walked downstairs.

"YES PLEASE!!!!!!!" I said.

Half an hour later, we had had out pizza delivered and were watching X Factor.

"Yay, my favourite went through!" I said. I'd been watching x Factor this series and thought it was really good.

"Yes, same!" Alfie said.

"Ugh, mine didn't" Zoe said, putting on a fake frown. We all laughed.

"I think I might go to bed: I'm really tired" I said, yawning.

"Ok sweetie." Zoe hugged me.

"Night. I love you both so much.
Thank you so much for adopting me." I said.

"It's our pleasure!" Zoe and Alfie said in unison, " We just want you to know, Zara, that we really like you! We're so happy we adopted you!" Zoe said.

"I love you guys so much! I can't believe this is actually happening. I'm adopted by Zalfie...? Woah. This is so hard to get my head around!" I laughed.

Zoe and Alfie laughed and then I headed upstairs to get into my beautifully fragranced bed. I loved my new room so much!

I got ready and then slept like a log.
