Meet and Greet

"Zara! Are you ready?" Zoe asked as I trotted down the stairs.

"Yup!" I replied, reapplying some lip balm. My lips were really dry today.

We got into the car and said goodbye to Alfie. We were going to a meet and greet session. I was SO excited!

"I'm actually really hungry!" Zoe said. " This is really bad but I forgot to have breakfast!"

"Maybe we could quickly get something to eat before we go in?" I suggested.

"Good idea." Zoe said. "I think I'm gonna vlog today!"

"Yesssssss!" I said.

Zoe got put her vlogging camera and asked me to put it on the side.

"Hello everybody!" Zoe announced, grinning broadly.

"Hey guys!" I stated.

"Today we are on our way to meet some of you guys! This is also Zara's first proper meet and greet! We're so excited to meet ya'll." Zoe said.

I clapped my hands in excitement.

"Zoe! Can we listen to the Taylor Swift album?"

"Sure!" Zoe said, putting in 1989, the disk.

We started singing along to the songs while vlogging.

"A-a-a shake it off shake it off a a!" We sang.

"You can hear it in the silence... You... You can see it with the lights out. You..."

"Cause baby now we got bad blood! Hey!"

"Cherry lips. Crystal Skies. I could show you incredible things."

"Say you'll remember me. Standing in a nice dress - staring at the sunset, babe."

"We're here!" I exclaimed as Zoe parked.

"We'll cya soon, guys! Might vlog a bit when meeting you guys! Bye!!!!!" Zoe said.

We walked inside the building and were led by a man into a backstage place.

"They are waiting for you in there. When you want a break, come in here. And if you want refreshments, there's a vending machine there." The man said.

"Ok. Thank you!" We said in unison.

"Ready?" Zoe asked me.

"As ready as I'll ever be!" I replied.

"Nervous?" She asked me.

"Yeah. But in a good way. I'm just as excited!" I squealed.

"Then let's do this!" Zoe exclaimed.

As we went in, there were thousands of people squealing. I was so overwhelmed. Everything was blurry at first. Zoe gave me a hug, smiled widely and sat down at her chair. This was so unreal!

"Oh my gosh! Zoe!!!!! Zara!" Two girls, who were first in line said, gaping.

"Hey, girls! What are your names?" Zoe asked.

"I'm Lydia and this is Bethany." The girl with red hair on the right said. Her hair was amazing! It was a bit like Jess Glynne's.

"Hi! I love your hairs!" I said, hoping not to sound lame...

"Thanks so much!!! Wow! Can I have s picture?" Bethany asked, getting her phone out.

"Of course!" Zoe replied, posing with me next to her and the two girl next to us.

"Thank you! It wa nice to meet you!" Zoe said, waving as they walked off, grinning.

Next was a girl who looked around 14, smiling broadly.

"hi! What's your name?" Asked Zoe.

"Hi! Oh wow! My name's Ruby. I love your videos sooooo much, Zoe and Zara!" She exclaimed.

"Thanks so much! Do you any a picture?" Zoe asked.

"Yes please!!!"

We posed and greeted the next person.

We were there for an hour until we took a ten minutes break and then came back for another hour and then had a break and back again for an hour.

"Miss Zoe, you have 5 people left to see." Our manager said as the next people came.

"Ok! Thanks." Zoe said.

We said goodbye to the last person and were about to leave when's we saw a girl running with a heavy rucksack towards us, looking stressed. She looked about my age, 10 or 11.

"Sorry, but Zoella is not seeing anymore people today.

She looked so upset.

"Please?" She said in a small whisper.

"No. Leave or security will be called.

I saw the tears in her eyes and Zoe and I ran up to her, pushing past the security guard, just as she burst into tears.

"Sh sh, it's ok, sweetie! It's me, Zoe! Don't worry about him." Zoe said as we hugged her.

"Oh my goodness! Hi!" She said through sobs.

"Hi!" We said back I her.

"I'm so sorry I'm late, my Mum and I missed our train from Milton Keynes. I'm so so sorry!" She gasped.

"don't apologise, it's fine!" I said.

Just then, her Mum came over.

"Oh phew! We made it! Hi! Sorry we are so late! I'm Susan and this is Sophie." She said, grinning.

"Hi! What lovely names!" Zoe exclaimed.

"Thank you!" She said.

We chatted more and then said goodbye to them. We then went home. My first meet and greet was amazing!
