" Alfie wants you guys back." Louise stated.

What?! He wants us back!?

"What!?" I cried, trying to process what she'd just said.

"Look, I know he was horrible to you and Zoe and left you but-" Louise started, but I cutr her off.

" Are you actually being serious, Louise!? Don't you know what he did! He was rude to us and LEFT! I'm NOT letting him come back into our lives and hurt me but hurt Zoe even MORE!" I screamed, angry.

I was fuming. How can Alfie just think that he can say sorry and come back like that!? Actually. No. He didn't say sorry at all! Didn't even bother to come and apologise himself! And now Louise in on his side!? You have to be kidding me!

"Zara, wait!" Louise said as I pushed passed her, entering the dining room.

"NO Louise!" I shouted, before realising how rude that sounded. But being rude isn't want I need to think about right now. Anyone would've been as angry as I am if they were in this position.

Just before Louise was about to retort, we heard the toilet flush. Zoe was coming.

"Do not tell her!" I whisper shouted as we hurried to our seats.

"I wasn't going to!" she replied, huffily.

We heard the door unlock just before Zoe entered the room.

"Are you ok?" She asked, curiously.

Louise hesitated. "We're fine!" I said, a little too unnaturally.

Zoe looked a bit curious but sat down and finished drinking. Louise was glaring atr me from across the table but I tried to ignore her and finished my drink. I put our three mugs in the dish washer and Louise spoke.

"I'd better be off."

"OK." Zoe said, gingerly.

"But don't worry, Chummy, I'll see you tomorrow!" Louise said, hugging Zoe. She was hugging her longer than usual and while they were hugging, Louise rudely pulled a face at me as if to say, " She's all mine, I'm the only one she likes."

I decided to ignore them. Louise then finally left, while Zoe and I were left alone to ourselves.

Zoe sighed and sat down. I couldn't tell her. It would just make things even more complicated. It wouldn't be right to hide it from her though... What shall I do? I think I better tell her. I'll do it tomorrow when my mind's clear. I'll sleep on it. That's what's best.

"Zoe, I think I'm gonna go to bed." I said, getting up later that day.

"Ok." She said. " Me too."

We went up to bed.  I didn't sleep very well. Louise and Alfie were on my mind. I had decided to plan in my head how I would tell Zoe,

"So Zoe, there's something I need to tell you... when Louise came yest-"

No. Definitely not.

"Zoe, I need to talk to you about something. Everything's gonna be alright but-"

No! That sounds like I've been keeping something from her. Well I have but not like that.

I'll work it out tomorrow. I just don't know how she's going to take it...
