"Hold her still!"
"I can't while we're running idiot!"
"You're going to wake her the fuck up!"
Slowly I opened my eyes. All I could see was darkness, stars and the moon. Someone was carrying me while they were running through the city. I recognised the voices from somewhere. My head was pounding and blood ran down my temples.
Suddenly I remembered everything! The explosion in our house! Calum running and yelling! Michael! My family!
I began moving to get away from whoever was holding me. "Emmy! It's us!" The guy next to me yelled. I squinted my eyes and tried to see better.
"M-Michael?" I softly mumbled and began to move even more so I could get near him. The guy holding me suddenly let me go and I fell to the ground. I let out a groan and felt down my sore legs and back.
"Dude?" Michael whined and bend down to help me up. "I don't care. Michael don't you understand? She's dragged into this now? They saw us being near her, especially you. I say we leave her here or hide her in the woods." Calum said and crossed his arms over his chest.
"Cal, are you fucking stupid? She's my cousin!"
"Well, it's your fault she's a victim now! I tried to keep an eye out the window just in case someone would be watching us, but apparently you don't care about your life anymore."
Michael slowly wrapped his arms under my body and lifted me up in his arms, holding me close to his chest.
"I just wanted to take a break from all killing and dealing. Sorry for seeing my family for once?" Michael expressed and kept on going forward down the street. "She's not going to be in danger."
"She is! Don't you see? Gibson's going to see her as your weakness, our weakness. Where are you going to take her, huh? Her house and family is blown up you know?"
Michael suddenly stopped and glared at Calum. "You know that was my family too. She is the only one I have left now, Calum! Of course she's my weakness when she's like a sister to me!" Michael yelled.
"We'll have to take her home to ours." He continued. "WHAT! Do you want us to be killed? Hemmings won't be pleased you know." Calum expressed with wide eyes and followed Michael.
"He will do stuff to her, use her, trick her into doing things she don't usually do."
"No, he won't. If he lies one finger on Emmy, I'm going to kill him."
"Michael, I'm fine." I mumbled and tried to listen to their conversations, but I was still in shock, so it was impossible. "Em, you need to rest. Try to relax."
I slowly nodded my head and not far after I drifted of to sleep in Michael's arms.

Slowly I opened my eyes to be met by more darkness. I sat up in the bed I currently had slept in. It was a king sized with black covers. Slowly I raised my hand and felt my head. Someone had put several bandaids on my temple and I wasn't dizzy anymore.
My eyes wandered around the room. The walls were painted in some sort of dark purple or eggplant and the floor was all black. No windows.
The only light in the room was from a small lamp on the nightstand. Next to the lamp was a glass of water and an aspirin.
Gladly I grabbed it and within a split second it was going down my throat with help from the water.
I let out a sigh and stretch my arms before deciding to explore the new place. Gently I threw the covers to the side as I stood up from the soft bed. How did I end up here?
