Dark.

That's how I describe what I was seeing right now.

Pitch black. Like space but without all stars, galaxies and planets. Like when you close your eyes but no pictures turn up.

Suddenly a light came in to my view. It shined so bright. I walked to it.

Suddenly I opened my eyes to see a glowing lamp shine down on my face, making my eyes hurt.

I let out a groan and covered my sight with the back of my hand as I turned my head away. Where was I?

"Em!"

I turned back my head to find Jenn jumping up from nearest chair and run over to me.

"JENN!" I expressed and used my arms to sit up, but the sharp pain in my forearm made me fall back against the red table I was lying on. Wait, red?

I glanced down and saw red paper under my upper body. Was this blood?

My arm.

The chip.

It was done.

"H-how does it look?" I asked carefully and didn't dare to look at my sore arm. Jenn gave me a small smile before taking her hand in mine.

"It went fine. Luke was really careful with the knife and both him and Ashton teamed up in cleaning you up afterwards." She said and took a deep breath.

I turned my head and glanced down my arm. It was wrapped in some kind of white bandage. It looked great. Nothing red or yellow pus showed.

Ashton helped Luke heal me.

"They told me to keep an eye on you. Oh, and you're suppose to take these painkillers and a rehydration pill. You lost a lot of blood." She handed me a glass of water and three pills. Two painkillers and the other pill.

I drank the water and swallowed the pills in one big gulp before stretching my back.

"You couldn't have given me a better bed?" I asked and reached my neck and began rubbing my stiff muscle.

"They didn't want to risk moving you just in case the chip would move around. You have to stay still the rest of the day and night."

"So, I'm just gonna lie here?" I asked and looked at her with a frown.

She let out one of her cute giggles and covers her mouth with her hand. "No, Luke told me to transport you to his room."

"No fucking way." I said and crossed my arms, but soon felt the pain and decided to let my arms hang on my sides, pouting my lips instead.

"He predicted you'd say that. He also said that if you refused to lie in his bed, then this table would be your bed for the next week."

"Damn." I muttered and rolled my eyes. Fucking idiot.

I rolled my eyes before standing up slowly. "Fine. Take me to Hemmings bed. BUT he won't sleep in there with me." I said and made a gesture with my left arm, the one that was fine.

Jenn giggled and wrapped her arm gently around my shoulders. She opened the door and led me through the hallway and in to Luke's room.

"You have a visiter." She said and Luke looked up from a magazine as he laid on the bed, feet crossing. Once he saw me he raised his eyebrow.

"About time." He muttered and glanced down on his paper again.

"I'll just go." And so Jenn closed the door and walked away from me.
