I softly laid my head upon the wolfs' back, i could feel it rising up and down with each breath the wolf took. I had been right, the fur was soft, I slowly warmed up. Jim was no longer growling, he had laid down and he looked like he was asleep. The last thing I thought was about how cute Jim looked, I had never really paid attention to him when he was asleep before, then I fell asleep.
I woke up with my head on something hard, I opened my eyes, the wolf had gone, i was laid on the ground. The birds were singing and the sun was filtering through the trees. I was glad the wolf hadn't killed me and I was quite happy it was gone. No matter what happened last night the wolf still scared me.
I looked around to see if I could see Jim, he was laid down at the other side of the clearing, not moving. I hoped he was just asleep and not dead. I ran over to him, calling his name. I stroked his fur but there was no response, i got up and turned away, crying, no, not Jim, Jim couldn't just die.
Suddenly I felt something brush against the back of my legs, I looked down, it was Jim!! He was still alive, i guessed he had just been in a deep sleep, I was so happy. I hugged him and although he looked a bit confused at all the sudden attention he didn't seem to mind. I was just so happy that he was still alive.
I thought I saw something move in the trees, something big, something black, something dangerous but i passed it off as my mind being over imaginative because nothing moved after that. I had found a stick and I was playing fetch with Jim. I threw the stick and Jim fetched it but unlike all the times before he ran around me instead of bringing the stick to me, I turned around to call him and the wolf was there.
"Jim" I said, he was getting to close to the wolf for comfort, but he just kept on walking "Jim" this time I raised my voice. Jim got to the wolf and laid down the stick, I almost laughed, why would the wolf want a stick? Jim quickly backed away and the wolf stepped over the stick, it was coming towards me, I was shaking with fright. Step by step it got closer, i could now see the colour of its eyes, they were an amber sort of colour.
The wolf finally got to my feet and put down what was in its huge jaws, i hadn't had a proper look at what it was until then but then I realised it was two rabbits. I was amazed, the wolf went back into the trees as I pulled out the little knife I had found in my pocket, I quickly skinned the rabbits and prepared them for cooking. I found sticks littered around the clearing and stacked them up, i knew the basics of making a fire and got to work, I quickly created a spark by rubbing two sticks together, I had a fire.
I used my knife the sharpen the end of a stick and i speared the two rabbits on it that i had prepared earlier. I held them over the fire, turning the stick every so often to make sure all the meat was evenly cooked, when I was sure it was cooked properly i gave one rabbit to Jim and ate one myself, the wolf has disappeared back into the trees, I was sure it would be back though. The fire had burned all the stick and it had slowly grown smaller and smaller until there wasn't a fire left.
I got up, turned towards the trees and called Jim over. With Jim at my heels I prepared for the long walk ahead, the wolf would find us again, I knew it.

I am sorry if the fire thing wasn't that accurate, I have no idea about how to create a fire or prepare rabbits for cooking. I tried to make it a longer chapter than last time :) Thanks for reading everyone, just comment on what you would like to happen next chapter or what I could have done better or just basically comment on whatever you want to comment on lol.
