I can feel their warmth surround me.
I open my eyes and look around.
On my left, Jeff is hugging me.
On my right, Toby is hugging me.
We're huddled in one large bunch.
I can feel heat rise to my face, and I blush.
It takes everything in my power not to scream.
What is this?!?!
Why are they hugging me in their sleep?!?!
I guess Jeff isn't necessarily sleeping, since his eyes never close, but he's still unconscious.
At least I think he's unconscious...
I can feel their arms wrapped around my shoulders.
It's perfect bliss...
I look over as Toby opens his eyes and blushes a deep red.
He doesn't flinch back like I would expect, but he just lays there, his face becoming more red each moment.
Jeff suddenly becomes aware of what's happening, and he does the same.
I would expect them to flinch back, but they stay, not minding the embarrassment.
They actually come closer.
I can tell I'm probably blushing just as bad as them.
I don't really get what's going on, but it's truly blissful.
Someone's phone rings, ruining the moment.
We look around to see that it's Toby's and his mother is calling.
"Just ignore it!" he shouts.
We all laugh.
"Toby, we can't just ignore it!" I laugh.
It stops ringing and he gets a voicemail.
Who gets voicemails anymore?
We listen to it.
His mother says, "Toby, please come back home!"
She's crying.
"No matter what you did, I still love you. I need to see you one more time, please, I'm begging you! Please, come see your mother. I miss you! I know you're not dead. They say you are, but I know you aren't! Please, at least give me a sign that you're still out there!"
It ends there.
I look over to see Toby, crying.
I go over and hug him.
I nestle his head right on my chest so his sobs are muffled.
I feel that if I saw him crying too long, I would start to cry.
He suddenly grabs me very tightly.
"It's okay. Show her that you're still here. Show her that you're still alive." I say, trying to encourage him.
He lifts his head and asks, "How do I do that? I can kill someone, but how would they know it's me?"
"Leave something behind. Do it in the woods you set on fire. There are ways to which you could do this without leading the investigators astray. Think about it. They never found your body, did they?" Jeff points out.
"I guess you're right." Toby responds.
"If you don't mind, I would like to watch the news." I state, ending the conversation.
He lets me go, I turn on the tv, and sit back down on the bed.
I don't get enough time to read the headline before the newsman says that they've placed a body count on Jeff's murder spree.
He says that it was the entire family.
His parents and his brother, dead, gone forever.
I look over at Jeff to see that his smile somehow widens at the sound of his parents, but dies down again when they mention his brother.
He killed his brother.
The brother he was so worried about when he got taken away for something he didn't do.
Jeff begins to weep silently.
He looks at his knife, remembering something painful.
"Jeff?" I ask, worried.
He grabs his knife and charges out the door.
I shout his name, but it's too late.
Toby and I chase after him and find that he's gone to a girl's house.
We watch through a window to see what he does.
Nobody's in the living room or kitchen of the house, so he moves to the bedrooms.
Toby and I move windows.
We watch as he gets closer to the girl in her room.
She's sleeping, so she can't hear anything.
He gets on top of her as she opens her eyes.
The window was slightly open, so we could hear them speaking.
"J-Jeff?!?! W-wait! Wh-what a-are you d-doing here?!?!" she stutters.
"Why should I tell you? I think it's time for you to GO. TO. SLEEP." Jeff says in a demonic voice.
His voice scares me a bit and I stumble into Toby's arms.
He steadies me a bit and I continue to look through the window.
I immediately regret the decision.
Jeff stabs the girl in the shoulder and blood splatters everywhere.
He continues to repeatedly stab the girl in her shoulders, making her suffer.
Blood splatters out of the small crack in the window, which allows it to get on Toby and I.
I feel sick by the time he's about to stab her in the stomach.
He stabs, and she screams.
I can hear Toby whisper, "He has to work quickly now."
Eventually, it gets to the point where the girl is barely grasping onto life.
He finishes it off by stabbing her straight in the throat and blood practically sprays out.
It sprays on Toby and I again, but this time it's a larger load.
It basically covers my shirt, while getting quite a few drips on my pants, too.
The place that has the most blood, is my face, but I can't turn away.
It seems so.... Interesting.
At this point I don't feel sick anymore.
Toby looks at me and decides it's time to go back to the mansion.
He leads me to a bathroom where he cleans up my face.
"What about my clothes?" I ask.
He answers, "I don't exactly know." and blushes.
"I would let you use my hoodie if it wasn't covered in blood, too..." he says.
"Is it possible for me to get by with just a sheet for now?" I question, blushing.
"I guess it would work..." he responds and runs to get a sheet.
He comes back, sets down the sheet, and steps outside of the door.
I undress and drape the long cloth on top of me.
I'm not wearing a bra today, but I make it so it's double-layered on top of my breasts.
I open the door, holding my clothes.
Toby blushes and takes my clothes.
I go to his room while he takes my clothes to get washed.
I lay down on his bed and he comes back, still blushing.
I hold the sheet tightly, fearing that it will come undone.
It's getting late and I'm beginning to get tired, but I want to wait until I know that Jeff is safe.
I begin dozing and eventually give in to sleep.
I awake to Jeff and Toby arguing.
Jeff screams, "Is this one of your sick jokes?!?!"
"What do you mean? My shirt had blood on it. I had to take it off and get it washed!" Toby asks calmly.
"Why is (y/n) naked?!?! Were you two having sex?!?!" Jeff shouts.
"Wait, what?!?! NO! Do you really think I'm that kind of guy, Jeff?!?!"
"Not really, but I know you like her! You don't even have to tell me you do! It's obvious!"
It takes all of my strength to not say anything.
First off, Toby's not wearing a shirt?!?!
I guess his did get a lot of blood on it.
Second, Jeff thinks I'm NAKED?!?!
Third, Toby likes me?!?!
I'm so confused.
"Jeff, you're no different. You like her too! You can't hide the fact that you care about her too! Also, to put a fact out there, she's not naked, her clothes were dirty and needed washed! She didn't have other clothes!"
JEFF LIKES ME TOO?!?!
What is going on here?!?!
"I guess we're both fools. We've fallen in love with the same girl." Jeff states.
I don't know how I feel about them.
It's so confusing!
I don't know if I love them back, if I feel the same way they do.
I mean, we're friends, but is that what we should be?
Should we be more than friends?
Should we act like we never met?
So many questions that need to be answered and I don't know if I want them to be answered.
I finally speak up, "Jeff, Toby, I'm sorry, but I was eavesdropping..."
I sit up, holding the sheet over my chest, since it had come undone, but was loosely covering my breasts.
They both look at me, blushing deeply.
"How much did you hear?" Toby asks.
"Just about everything..." I reply.
