I've learnt to love the simple things in life
Like how the sun shines, the birds chirp,
The way my feet move across each stone
Just like my character, Marah, I can see life through the world around me
This is a world that God has created
Life is like art; mystical and beautiful
God's wonder is in everywhere I look
I see trees and flowers coming alive in the spring time,
Glistening against the sunshine
I see God's blessings everywhere I look
People expect God to to give them the world, but hasn't he already?
People want to change the world, but why change what God has already created?
As I look across at beds of grass and flowers, I see God's peace
As I look across at the waves in the ocean, soaring out into endless eternity,
I see God's freedom
We look at this world, but do we look at it the way God looks at it?
Animals care for their infants as if they are the only thing that matters,
As if they are more precious than life alone
The parents of the infants care for their children greatly,
And find them shelter away from danger
In the same way, God cares for us as if we are the only thing that matters,
As if we are more precious than life alone
So much so that he gave up his only Son's life to show us how precious we really are
God, as our Father, cares for us and blesses us daily
He keeps us from danger and shelters us with his presence
We are protected from any danger infinitely, as his hands are wrapped around us,
Holding us close, never letting go
We can walk freely on earth with confidence knowing that we are protected
And sheltered by our Heavenly Father
We don't need to worry about anything as our Mighty Father will keep us fed and meet our needs
He will look after His children
God put us into this earth to share his blessings with us
He gave us the world, the entire world, right into our hands
Our Father, our Mighty Father, has fought every battle for us and won victoriously
I look at the skies of the earth and the bright stars across the night sky
In the simple beauty of this world, I see God our Father's arms stretched out
In the shape of a cross,
His love poured out for all
