Jade's POV

10:32am

I woke up an unfamiliar room with black and grey walls with silver items around the room.

It then all comes to mind, last night Nate let me stay over because I had no ride home.

I got up from bed and changed back into my clothes, combed my hair and tied it into a messy bun, brushed my teeth and walked down stairs.

"Morning Nate." I smiled.

He turned back and smiled "slept well."

"yes thanks for letting crash at your house last night, the bacons smell nice." I reply while jumping onto the stool.

"Yeah it's alright I weren't gonna let you walk home at that time." he says while serving me my plate of bacon and eggs.

I finished my food quietly and went up to the sink to wash up my plate.

"Thanks for the breakfast Nate, but I'd better be off before Sarah starts calling, I didn't even phone to tell her that I would be here last night." I say in an annoyed tone.

"Wait 2 minuets and I will drop you off." He says while putting his plate into the sink and running upstairs.

As Nate decided to take more than just 2 minuets I starting walking around the house. Wow he lived in quite a luxurious house, e must be a millionaire.

"You ready." He says out of breath.

"Yes, um nice house Nate, hope you don't mind me asking but how do you afford this lot." I say sounding interested.

"Well my dad, mum and me used to live here and he had to  move to L.A for his business , I didn't want to go so my dad and mum decided to let me stay here, he sends me the money to use when I need it and yeah." He says finishing off.

"WOW you stay here all by yourself!" I ask.

"Sometimes, I mainly have my boys Sammy and the Jacks staying over and during the breaks my Mum always comes to visit and if my dad is free then he comes sometimes as well, and if they both can't make it then I go there.

We walk out the house while chatting and we sit into the car. Nate then drives to my place.

"Thank you Nate for everything, I really appreciate that." I speak while taking off my seat belt.

"it's ok Jade, how's your mum by the way?" he questions.

"She is fine, the doctors allowed her to come home just for yesterday to celebrate Christmas, as this might be her last Christmas." I say as my voice cracks towards the end.

"Hey, don't say that, you cant lose hope just yet, come on Jade your not the girl I know in College." Nate says while stroking my arm, when he done that he sent shivers up my spine.

" Your right I ain't the same Jade everyone knew because that was the fake me. I didn't enjoy being that person." I mumble breaking into fits of tears. "Sorry." I say wiping away my tears." Nate see you on Monday."

Nate's POV

What does she mean I ain't the same person? Something is definitely not right, she is hiding something.

I drive home with that thought running through my head. Maybe she needs a friend to share everything with to feel better, and I really wouldn't mind being that friend.
